We don't have KMR or a way to get KMR. It's at Walmart but it is online only and it'd take too long to recieve the KMR. It's about 4 weeks old and what we've been giving it is cow milk. The first day we gave it the cow milk it had diarrhea but after the first day it hasn't crapped any at all.

I can't get KMR and I know it'll slowly starve to death on cow milk. So what can I use instead of KMR?

Also I can't take it to a vet.

For the past few months, my cat has been scratching at himself on his neck and ears causing bleeding sores. Recently, he has been biting and licking at this same spot on his belly and today I noticed it was red and it looks like it might be getting infected. I took him to the vet when this all started and I don't think she knew what she was talking about b/c she tried to tell me it was mange. I have THREE other animals who are 100% perfect and mange is contagious....so obviously it isn't mange. I don't know what to do with him anymore b/c he just keeps scratching at himself!! I'm more concerned with the sore on his belly b/c it looks like it may be getting infected. Any suggestions on how I can treat the sore on his belly? Are there any at home remedies anyone knows of? Or if anyone has had this similar problem...please HELP!!!

I have this 1yr old cat, She is spayed, happy healthy little thing. The problem is she won't stop meowing... Non stop, the only time she doesn't meow is when she is sleeping, which happens to be during the day. She is an indoor/outdoor cat, she even meows when she is outside. She always has plenty of food and water, and she always gets plenty of lovin. But she just won't stop meowing.... any suggestions?

They were abandoned when they were newborns, I rescued them, bottle-fed them, managed to rehome 2 of them, but 2 more need a home. There are no shelters where I live, so don't tell me to take them there.

I rescued 5 baby kittens about two months ago. I took them to the vet after I had them for about a week. They were all fine healthy and very busy. The vet said one had an upper respirtory infection but I saw no signs (ie) watery eyes or lack of appitiet. She also said they had worms so she administered the worm treatment and put them all on an antibotic. Within two hours the little one just stopped breathing and his brother has not been right since. We have named him Mr. Wobbles he looks like he is drunk all the time. I am going to be getting them vacinated in the next few weeks (by a different vet of course) but I am worried about Mr. Wobbles what if he gets worse. I am also concerned about when we get him fixed how being put under will affect him. I would appreciate it if anyone has any similar stories or would know what could be the cause for what happened.

I want to get a cat and keep it outdoors only. How do you do this when you bring it home? Are there steps you take in order for it to become completely outdoors without it running away?

Can a lynx fit on a normal person's shoulder?

I'm asking this because I'm doing an art assignment and was wondering if a normal lynx can fit on a normal person's shoulder. Please don't say a baby lynx can.

I don't know if isolating them would really prevented anything. The older kittens are now sneezing alittle and one has watery eyes. Help.

I have been raising a month old kitten. My cat (his mother) abandoned him and his sister within 3 days of giving birth. So, sister died not long after that and sort of random too. Totally fine one day, and then gone the next. No signs, or symptoms of any illness, except they both had crusty eyes.(Which I kept clean all the time!) I know this is a sign of respitory infections. My little guy was fine last night, but when I woke up this morning he was limp and cried a bit when I picked him up. I tried CPR and my fiance kept telling me he was already dead and that his movements were just reflexes. I didn't want to believe him though. Oh it was awful!!! Anyone know if he might have been physically defective from birth and that is why momma cat, dismissed the both of them from the get go? I am still grieving a bit, so be gentle.

Ok my (2) little babies are 5 weeks old now and very active. I purchased a new box for them because mom and dad have their own I put my little smokey in the litter box and helped him scratch his paw and he got the idea right away. Now my little kimba, well she seems to be a little bit of a late bloomer, I placed her in the box also but she started to eat the litter and now shes just going everywhere, especially at night when she climbs up on the bed and sleeps next to me, i guess she's warm when she wakes up and just let's it out. What do I do, I know I need a little more patience, but there's only so many times I want to go to the laundry to wash kitty pee off my sheets. Thank God they don't have that grown up cat amonia smell yet, anyhow, please give me suggestions. Thank you.

Has anyone used a "wireless fence" for a cat? Does it work? Does it need training? Which device did you use? Please, I need help, because I just took 2 kittens I rescued to a horse riding club, which is perfevt for them, but the problem is that there is a high traffic road passing nearby and one of the cats who lived there already was killed by a car today. So please let me know how i can confine them, but I can't go there and put wires on the property that is not mine!

They will be 3 weeks old this Saturday. They whine a lot, are gassy, their stools are yellow and runny with a cottage cheese-like subatance, one tried to throw up last night, several have been coughing, and little bit sneezed her head off with some discharge from her nose.

I have a lovely little kitten who loves to scoop his dry food from his bowl and throw it onto the floor. I am wondering why he does this and how I can prevent it. He likes the food. He eats it often. He just likes to throw it around and mess up the kitchen floor before he has dinner. Any ideas?

I just moved into my sister’s house yesterday. I have my own room, and my 5 year old cat. She has never been around other cats, and my sister has 3 cats and a dog. Last night one of her cats got into my room by accident while I was moving in, and my cat freaked out. She started giving off some kind of meow that sounded like a siren and hissing. When I left for work, she was still under the desk. What should I do to integrate her into the rest of the home and the pets? I can’t keep her in my room forever. Please help I can’t move anywhere else.

I took in 4 stray kittens raised them till they were 6 weeks old and found homes for them. Now I have fleas. I have had an exterminator here twice, done all the required cleaning, used 7dust and borax. I have spent over a month cleaning my a** off and I still have fleas. Funny thing is, after treating my home we don't see any fleas for a week, then they magically reappear. Can anyone help? I am on the verge of a mental breakdown and have no clue what to do. In total I have spent around $200 trying to get rid of the fleas. I am disabled with a heart condition and 2 children to raise. I am at my financial end. Please only serious answers!!!

I have a great little kitten with a wonderful personality, but I'm trying to figure out if this is just because she didn't feel well or out of spite.

Yesterday I took her to get her 2nd distemper shot and her rabies shot and today she was very lethargic, so I called the vet and he said I should bring her in. So I brouh=ght her in and she was pretty good until it was time for her temp to get taken, at which point she growled and yowled and made a fuss the likes of which I'd never seen from her (although I can't blame her.. I wouldn't like that either!) Anyway, it was determined that she was having a reaction to the distemper shot and she got a shot of something that started with a "D" and we went home.

So half way home, the groggy little thing climbed onto my lap and piddled.

While I would like to believe that she did this to avoid getting piddle on my new car, I suspect that isn't the case. Any ideas?

I have 3 cats, one male and two females. The male weighs 20 pounds while the girls each weigh 9 pounds. The male cat is very dominating, agressive and intense in whatever he does. I have an unending love for all 3 and plan on keeping all of them. He treats them bad, is mean to them, tries to hurt them. He is 3 years old, they are each 10 (siblings). Has anyone ever heard of such a thing as putting a cat on a drug like valium?

I have a 5 year old male cat. Over the past year or so he has developed a cough along with some wheezing. About 6 months ago I took him to the vet for this and after the exam the vet said that he could see nothing wrong. He goes through these coughing and wheezing spells about once every 2 months or so, and there are no other symptoms present. His gums and tongue always stay pink so it seems like he is getting enough oxygen, but he acts as though he is having trouble breathing. Is there anything I can do to help him??
