Has anyone used a "wireless fence" for a cat? Does it work? Does it need training? Which device did you use? Please, I need help, because I just took 2 kittens I rescued to a horse riding club, which is perfevt for them, but the problem is that there is a high traffic road passing nearby and one of the cats who lived there already was killed by a car today. So please let me know how i can confine them, but I can't go there and put wires on the property that is not mine!

Believe it or not, my cat stays in a fenced pen all day long. There is no top to it and it's just made out of plain ol chicken wire. My guess is that she can't see where it ends so she doesn't try to jump/climb out. I love it though...this way she can enjoy her outside time and I can go to work and be worry-free!

Cats do not belong outdoors for any reason. Keep them inside where they belong. Cats also do not 'train' the way dogs do and would not be able to learn the meaning of an electric fence. I don't know that the fences are even approved for cat use. Please, if you can't keep the kittens safely inside you need to take them to a shelter so they can be properly cared for. Outdoor cats are lucky to live 2 years. Don't be so cruel.

If you truely want to rescue these kittens you will not release them to fend for themselves outdoors~
