Can a lynx fit on a normal person's shoulder?

I'm asking this because I'm doing an art assignment and was wondering if a normal lynx can fit on a normal person's shoulder. Please don't say a baby lynx can.

Well, they're close to 4 feet long (42") and weight up to 40 pounds. If you've ever shouldered a 25 pound bag of cat litter, basically double that and think how long you want to carry that kind of weight around.

Physically it's possible, but the width of the animal would be hard put to stay on you without sliding off.

A full grown lynx is a big cat, not big like a lion, but too big for a shoulder.

Unless your subject has really massive shoulders, the answer is no!
