He has not always done this, it has just been the past couple of weeks. He doesn't seem to have any other symtoms, he's eating, drinking and playing as he usually is. Any idea what this could be?

I have a 3 year old cat who is not that very friendly to other people. She is very sweet to my husband and I but whenever we have visitors, I always warned them to not touch my cat because she might scratch them - just a precaution. My brother brought an obnoxious guest the other day, I warned him and all that about my cat and he still was very disrespectful despite of what I said...He bothered my "sleeping" cat of course, as reflex, my cat doesn't know him at all she scratched him and made this scary meow noise (that I never heard her meow like tha before!) make the long story short, a week after this idiot got scratched..he called and asking about my cat's vaccine records - he was saying that his hands is swollen due to the scratch. My problem is, my cat is behind 2 years of vaccine. I don't want anything bad to happened...BUT IT WAS HIS FAULT! have he not bothered my cat he wouldn't get scratched. I am very upset. Could he get a rabies virus?am I in trouble? Please advise!

I am looking to get front-declaw only on my 3 cats, and $1300 was the price quoted to me. Is this reasonable? Or should I look for a different vet?

He was in the dumpster in a sealed garbage bag.........
He should be dead now, however he is running around playing in our house.........

Why do people have such little respect for animals? If you don't want it, why don't you just let it go?????????

mine disappeared for 6 hours today and I was very worried! I'm thinking of getting him a mobile so I can check up on him. Is this likely to embarrass him in front of his mates?

My cat is sick (vet thinks cancer or non-effusive FIP) and I know what it entails for him but we're hoping for the best. Anyways what can I do right now to help him with his dry paws so he doesn't slip and slide while walking on hard surfaces? Can I dab diluted olive or vegetable oil on them?

And any other advice, comments, etc... is appreciated.
Thanks :)

There is a weasel living in our barn ... I've seen it myself. My 3 year old, declawed cat got tore up pretty badly by something last week and the vet thought it could be a raccoon or a weasel but definitely not a Fisher. The cat's okay but refuses to go outside...which is a good thing! No one around here's heard of a weasel attacking a cat though. Anyone out there ever hear of such a thing happening???

Pet overpopulation is a growing problem:
There are 45 cats and dogs for every one person born.
Only one out of 10 dogs born ever find a permanent home.
Only one out of 12 cats born ever find a permanent home.
800 dogs and cats are destroyed each HOUR in the U.S. because there are not enough homes for them!

Please consider these numbers when you.....

consider letting your pet breed.
neglect having your pet spayed or neutered.
consider buying a pet from a breeder or pet store.
condemn different rescue organizations for euthanizing adoptable pet.
consider a pet for your home. Make sure you are willing and able to make a lifetime commitment to that pet!
