The most important thing for you to know is that products from pet stores and supermarkets do NOT work. Stores are not licensed to sell the appropriate drugs, so it's a waste of money to buy them. Collars, bombs, powders, shampoos - all a waste of time and money.
Pop in to a vets and pick up some Frontline, Advantage or Revolution. Make sure the stuff get's completely on the skin of the animal, not the fur. Also pick up some spray for your house while you're there, and you'll be sorted.

If Mooey is loaded with flees, take him to the vet. He runs the risk of becoming anemic. The best thing is to go to the vet to get stuff for the flees, they can either sell you the advantage stuff or tell you what is safe that is at your local stores. A lot of flee medication for cats isn't actually safe for your cats. Also, if you're still trying to de-flee your house; I've found that a powder for the carpets works really well. The name is Nature something or other, it goes on your carpets or anything that is frabric. The best idea is to follow the directions and leave it in the carpet for 24 hours and then vacuum it up. It worked wonders in my apartment.
ETA: It's Sergent's Gold Carpet Powder that worked wonders in my apartment which was infested horribly, like the minute you stepped into it there were hundreds of flea's on you. Do not, though, buy Sergent's stuff to put on your cat. Their spray on flea killer proved to be toxic to my cat which is an issue with a lot of over the counter flea killers for animals.

Your vet should sell either Frontline or Advantage for cats. You put this between their shoulder blades once a month and usually comes in a six month supply. If Mooey is loaded with fleas as you say take him to your vet and have him deflea him and then keep the flea treatment on both cats. Yes it is kind of expensive but it works.

i have had the same problem many times. heres what worked -
= one thing you can do is keep both of them in one room, flea-deprive the rest of the house... carpet powders work well and quickly, or you can try a dense spray. dont just spray it in the air, get under, between, and IN the furniture, cover every inch. once your house is flea proof, take your cats somewhere, maybe the yard, and put them on blankets, BIG blankets. put some well-given stuff, like advantage on them. an ointment preferably. or hopefully if you look around enough, you can find a body rub. a cat shampoo works fine too. on the blanket, rub them down, inch by inch, wash them off or whatever, and when you r done play with them er whatever, just keep them on the blanket for 50 mins or an hour(as long as possible). by then all the fleas in your house r dead, n all the fleas on your cats r dead n have fallen off or jumped ship. you can wrap up the blanket in itsself n douse it in the spray, just spray whatever is left in the can into the middle of the blanket.... make the blanket like a bag n open a little space n spray into it until the can runs empty pretty much.... this works everytime. good luck!!! ^^

Take them the vets
Also make sure your house was sprayed by a professional as the flea lava lives in the carpet, they are like tiny white worms, speak to your vet about it
If the Lava is not treated they will jump right back on your cats and you will be back at the start of the infestation again
Good Luck

Give everyone a 1 hour bath! Give your house a 5 day bath! Buy a huge can that kills fleas and spray it all over your house.

You should get flee drops from Walmart, or a pet shop. Just make sure it is made for grownup cats, unless yours are kittens.
