I have a male spayed cat. He's an indoor cat. I've had him for over a year and a half. He's very well behaved, just all of a sudden he's started to shew computer cables.
I've tried to provide him with more toys, it worked for some time, then he chewed again. So I'm spraying lemon and eucalyptus essence on the cables now and it works, he leaves them alone.
I was just wondering: what the hell possessed him to start chewing all of a sudden?!

i hope he is not bullimic.. LOL!!

I will feed him Tuna, then the will keep heaving and not bring anything up.

Could there be a problem!

He is normally really hyper and darting across the flat all day!

I am guessing it is a hairball.

I just got a 6 week old kitten on Friday. It is 5:00 on Sunday morning and my vet does not open until tomorrow. She has been having really loose poops, so I've been wiping her off afterwards. I noticed this afternoon that there looked to be a little red on the toilet paper. So, I've been watching her and just a moment ago she went again and there was blood. She pooped normally, then looked as if she were pushing one last piece out and it was really dark. I went over to check and sure enough, it was blood. Here is every detail (minor or otherwise) I can think of. I'm definitely going to the vet, but any ideas beforehand?
*I have to add it to additional details because there isn't enough room left to write it here *

I have a 9 week old kitten who basically ruled this house, but I used to feel bad that I'd be gone for 8 hours and he'd be by himself here, so I got a 6 week old kitten today and my 9 week old hisses at him and follows him around, basically bullying him around, and I feel really awful that I'm subjecting them both this adjustment, would you know how long it will take for them to get along?

Like I've said in other questions I'm bringing in a girl kitten maybe 3 1/2 to 4 months old. This will be her first time in a house besides the many times she has tried to run in. Will she adjust easily? She is pretty well behaved.

I found 2 kittens (sisters) on my doorstep meowing and scratching at the door a month ago. One ran away but the other stayed. This Monday the one that stayed is getting to live inside the house with us after her first visit to the vet. We had no clue where thay came from until now. A cat is living in our shed and KEEPS HAVING KITTENS!!! It just had its 3rd litter we think. It had three kittens this time and they are sooooo cute! We wanted to bring them somewhere but the kittens aren't old enough to leave their mother. We think once the kittens are old enough they'll leave. But what if they don't and the mother cat doesn't seem like she is going to leave anytime soon. You can't come anywhere near her. Should we block the way she comes in once the kittens are gone? I NEED HELP!!!!

My poor 6 month old kitten "Tangerine" has feline herpes. I have been giving him Lysine twice a day orally and Zithromax once a day orally and Terramycin twice a day for his eye. I have been giving him these for about 5 - 6 days now and I am not seeing much improvement. What is the average time period on when the symptons dissapear?

All answers are welcome and are appreciated.

Thanks!

He's not a kitten and his fur clumping up near his neck and tail, A friend gave him to me and hes had them before she gave him to me. The one by his neck is so tangled and bundled together that its showing his skin which is a purplish color, I'm not sure if its normal or not. I haven't found anything on the internet that can relate expect Mats which can be fixed at home. I don't want to waste a vets or groomers time with this if it can be fixed at home. Please help!

My cat is about 17 years old. Her skin turned yellowish, she wouldn't eat, and she was lethargic. At the vet they gave her fluid theapy and medicine. Vet says she probably has liver disease. Now she's at a medical facility and they say yes, the enzime count of her liver is high and that she has a tender stomach. They will do an xray to check for masses. If there are no masses, she still will have liver problems (the treatment is for the cat to eat, but she hasn't been eating much and she has throw up a lot/can't keep enough down) but if there are masses then they would have to do surgery to take them out in addition to other stuff. The specialist vet says it will cost 5000-7000 to get her well enough to bring home - but that they can't promise she will be the way she was, guarded at best. I love my cat and don't want her to suffer. I want to do right by her and give her a chance at more life. Any advice? Please help. I LOVE my cat and have been crying for days. Took sick leave from wrk

I've tried feeding them dry food and they began choking, so I added a little water to it. Once the food is soft enough the can eat it. How long should I keep adding water to their kitten food? Aren't they supposed to be ready to eat dry food yet? What if I just feed them special milk for kittens. Also, I wouldnt want them to dehydrate. Where I live it gets pretty hot 95 F. Thanx.
