The kitties are now 4 weeks and the past several day mum is spending more & more time away from her nest whilst they play & frolic. The 5 babies are all healthy, happy & are very friendly but does this mean its time to start weaning?
They are still in a huge box in my bedroom....do I put a litter tray in too? Are they big enough to come out of the box and explore my bedroom?
As they have been enclosed mum has no idea yet how to 'carry' them so Im not sure whether they should explore the jungle that is my bedroom?
Help please re weaning & toileting these little bundles of joy
Many Thanks

I have a kitten and her name was Electra for about 4 days, but it is just not right. She is white with black tail, one black spot behind her right front leg, a black spot over each eye (almost like an eyebrow) and a black triangle on the back or her neck, right below her ears. I have a picture of her on my 360 page if you want to look. Thank you

He is a scottish fold almost 8 years old. He's had blood work done...all come back normal. Sometimes when he throws up it's pinkish. The vet said that it's not blood. He's been great for quite a while now, and I haven't had to give him any medication. But yesterday he started up again. He threw up a lot once, and several times it was just like a pinkish mucus. I know he ate last night and kept it down, but he has since threw up at least a dozen times all with the pinkish mucus. I gave him his medicine earlier today which he kept down, but several hours later he threw up again. I haven't seen him eat or drink, but I am checking him for dehydration (seems ok.) Has anyone ever heard of something like this? He's had x-rays and an endoscope and blood work ups. They never find anything wrong. I don't believe that it's nerves either. The pink mucus is concerning, and I'm afraid that I'll have to put him down soon because of the cost/cleaning constantly. Please help! Thank you!

hi,
i have a tabby cat called taz. hes about 11 months old. he is a fatty and not so long ago i got worried about him and took him to the vet. she said he has swollen glanse(glanze) (glance) lol cant spell it. it cost me 60 quid for 2 injections and 3 pills.now his ear is looking horrible.. its got all scabby and looks sore.. does anyone know what this is or has anyone had a cat/kitten thats had this b4? i really want to take him to the vet. but they are gonna have injections in him so fast just so i have to pay. its disgusting. yes i love my cat soo much but i am working and not on the doll so cant get it for free. i just wondered if i should be worried at all. should i be? or do u just think he has been scratching it alot? he does have fleas/ maybe they have infected his ear? i really dont know. i hope someone has an answer... .....help....

I know it the right thing to do but can anyone give me some words of encouragement so I can finally STOP CRYING. I have had her since I was about 3 and I'm 21 now so you can imagine how attached I am to her and also how old she is. She cries all the time (by cry I mean meow really loud non-stop) and is really thin and throws up all the time. I know it's going to happen eventually, sooner than later, so any advice or kind words will help. Thanks.

Hi I have a sick Kitten I rescued. Mooky is about 12 wks. old,but very small and fragile.I have now gotten him to eat a little and drink water every few hours. My question is he is very dirty from being sick, even though I wash his face after eating he still doesn't have a momma to clean him thurally. Can I bathe him safely without worsening his condition. I heard you had to keep them very warm when doing this. The weather here is 88 degrees,so its very warm right now. Oh and his sickness is due to being dumped off and starving to where when I found him he was, so week he could barely stand, so all the advise given would be highly appreciated.

Hello, I just put flea spot on my cat and the way he was laying when I was doing it ( he was fighting me the whole time ) it looked like I was putting it on the back of his neck, when I finshed , I noticed I had actually put it on the side of his neck near his shoulder and cheek. He can almost lick it which I know is not good, So I'm wondering.. Do I wash it off or leave it alone? Will he be fine?

I took my 10 month old kitten today and he was a little scaredy cat! Although he was really well behaved once we'd gotten him out of his pet carrier. What is your cat like when they see the vet?

I gave my cats Frontline Plus two weeks ago and I still find big fleas on them, even pregnant fleas, on my cats when I use the flea comb. The directions say Frontline works immediately and not to apply a second treatment for at least a month. Is Advantage definitively better? Can I put Advantage on my cats now or should I wait two more weeks. I put Frontline on my cats two weeks ago. Have there been reports of fake or faulty pet medicine via an Internet store?

We don't have a cat, just dogs but we keep smelling 'cat spray' close to our front door! Hate that! Is there something that we can use to keep the cat away? We've not even seen the cat, he just leaves the odor behind! Our thanks to you for helpful answers!

There is a cat that comes every night to my yard, and bothers my female cat, which is fixed . It makes a loud sick sounding meow. Makes my dogs run out and bark! Wakes me up all through the night!

What can I do to make this cat go away, and what does it want with my cat?

This may be a weird question, but here goes... i have a very fat cat, and due to his weight he is unable to clean himself properly... in other words... his rear end is unreachable. I have no idea what to do to help keep him clean. anyone else ever have this problem and if so, what did you do?

I have three baby cats which I love to bits, all under a year old and the middle one is so lazy - it's so funny! She won't jump over the gate in the garden to get back inside, she'll sit there and yowl until I open it for her. The other two are crazy kids and run and jump everywhere, I can't believe how different all their personalities are - does anyone else have cats that are total opposites to each other? Love to hear your stories!
