I am assuming that you have a sitter or someone to come in and feed her otherwise the only thing you can do is put her in a cattery or not go away.
DO NOT leave her unattented for a whole week.
If you have someone looking after her then get their number so you can call them for updates.

Are you going to have your cat in the house or outside? If you have her in the house then what you will need is a big bowl of water and also food and a couple of litter boxes. And have her in a room where she can roam around and have room to move around in. If you are going to have her outside then have a friend look for her and to make sure the cat is going to be ok and to make sure the cat is ok. When I am gone for a week I leave the cat in the house(which I do any way) and I have a large bowl of food for her and also water and I have an extra container of food incase. I also leave 2 litter boxes in the room so she can go to either one and I have them full so she can go in them and not have her mess up my bed or the floor. I have done this on several times and I have had no problem at all by doing it this way. I have had no one watch my cat because I don't trust anyone with her. Or you can have a vet take her for a while the will house pets while people are on vacation. I have done it with a vet before but you will have to find one that will house them while you are gone for a week. I find it hard that way because if you forget to pick up your cat then they can take your cat and get rid of it. I won't do it that way any more. I hope this will help. Good luck.

If family or friends can not help out, then...
Hire a pet sitting service to come in and check on her, change her water and food and litter every couple of days (they don't have to come every single day like they would with a dog). They can bring in your mail and water your plants too. They'll even stay and play with your kitty for a little while so that it won't get bored. You can call the service for updates and status.
**Important to make sure that they have a full set of keys and the name of your vet and any health information (medication instructions, etc) that your kitty may need.
I find a pet sitting option MUCH less stressful than boarding!!! Your cat will be in it's own environment with it's own things and won't be exposed to other animal's possibly infectious diseases and cramped boarding conditions that could scare her terribly. The National Association of Pet Sitters website can help you find a licensed and reputable and insured sitter. (Very important!) See the link.

I would definitely have someone come in to check on your cat a few times while you're gone, preferably someone she trusts. You might want to invest in an automatic feeder and a waterer that has a large reservoir of water so it can constantly replenish itself. I agree with others who have left other sources of water available as well (open toilet, etc.)
If the cat will be outdoors, make sure she has a shady and covered place to go, like a garage. Only leave dry food out, not moist, which will attract bugs and perhaps other animals.

Will she be all alone? If so, is there someone you trust that could at least look in on her daily? Cats are pretty self sufficient, but you would really need to be sure there is nothing around that could get her into trouble - cords, plants, many things that might spike her curiosity if she gets bored. You need plenty of toys food water and probably 2 litter boxes because thats a long time for her "business" in just one box. It really would be best if someone could help you out with this.

put water and food in different places have 2 litter boxes clean and ready for poopy. Make sure that you re cat can find the food but it is not in the same place. try to fig out enough for the week. If Its is all in the same place it may try to eat it all at once. Cats are pretty self reliant it should be OK

Goodness, at the very very least get a sitter who can come to your place every day and feed her and water her and make sure she and your place are fine. Call this person every day or every other day while you are gone.
Dont just leave food and water out for that length of time. That would be wrong on so many levels and illegal depending on where you live (animal neglect).

personally, i would not leave a baby alone for an entire week without someone visiting regularly. yes, you surely should leave plenty of food and water and toys and clean litter, but she needs lovin too, and may not understand that you are coming back. she might be a bit distant when you return.
good luck

You leave at least 2 huge litter boxes and lots and lots of food and water. But if you love the kitty make sure someone comes in at least three days after you leave. Kitty needs to know someone cares!

Is someone going to check in on her throughout the week? If you don't have anyone to look in on her, then you should maybe consider boarding her either at the vets or with a pet sitter.
As long as someone looks in on her, she will be fine to stay at your house for a week.
