I have taken in a mother cat and her 4 kittens. The kittens are now 7 weeks old. They recently started to throw up after feeding on the mom.. I have tried to feed them canned food and they are eating alittle and they drink water but i am still a little worried about them.. Is it normal for them to throw up the moms milk?? From all that i know the mom is healthy.. I thought that i had been doing everything right...

I've only given my cats wet food but lately I started putting out more dry food. They will eat the dry food but definately perfer the wet food more. My male cat eats anything so he is good. But my female cat is very picky and won't eat the dry food and is very picky over the wet food. It seems like she only likes a specific kind of wet food.

Supermarket had a sale on dry food and i ended up buyin 3 bags of dry food so i'll be using dry food for a while now. Wet food is so much expensive....is my female cat not wanting to eat the dry food my fault cause I spoiled them only with wet food??? I started early on giving them wet food like about 5 months old.

I have a unfixed female 1-year-old cat. She's recently started peeing anywhere but in the litter box. She's peed on my couch, my book bag, and on the carpet. I keep a clean litter box, that she shared with two other kitties. She recently also pooped outside the litter box. I don't know what to do, the vet said there is nothing wrong wih her. I don't want to have to get rid of her, but i'm tired of my things being peed on! Help!

I feel so bad, but I don't know what to do. The vet said to make my cat an outdoor cat or put him to sleep. He will not use a litter box and I have had him checked and had experts try to figure it out. He is only a year old.

Hi. My cat just had kittens two days ago... They were born sometime late at night. I found them at around 7 AM and went into town to get my cat some special cat food to reward her... But, when I came back her box was all messed up (we live in the country- she had a box that I made her) and flipped over, and the kittens were chewed up on our front lawn by our neighbor dog (he had one in his mouth). I'm wondering:

A) What can I do about my neighbor and his dog
B) My cat seems lifeless now (doesn't play as much)
C) Will she have kittens again this summer

Thank you if you answer.

No sooner than I plop a few cubes in the water dishes, three of our cats have to take up station to play the time honored game of "Fishing For Fun!"--entailing each cat scooping out the cubes to play with them. (And making a cold mess in the process.)

Why do they do this? They act like they've never seen an ice cube before! lol

About six weeks ago my cat had babies. One siamese, one black, and two tabby. The siamese and the tabbies are growing at a normal weight. The play together, they drink moma's milk, etc. The black one is not as fat as the others, even though he drinks milk and water from the bowl. He doesn't play with the others, he prefers to be alone. He's so skinny. Is he the runt? Or, do you think he is sick?

We recently bought a kitten and it seems to want to sleep on the steps next to our ground floor. Everytime we move him to his blanket where his food bowls are he goes back to that same position on the step. What is the best thing to do in a situation like this?

We have 3 cats. 7, 6, and 2 years old, all neutered/spayed and current on shots. the 7 year old has always been able to go outside, she is very street smart and she comes inside regularly. the 6 year old is a male and he is a little skittish and not so bright and we worry about him. he only goes out for a little bit at a time, supervised. the 2 year old is afraid of outside. what do you think? dont you think that is cruel to keep an animal inside for years at a time without being able to roll in the grass. they say they live longer if you keep them inside, but overall they are not happy.

I have been told he is a Maine Coon but he doesn't have the maine part around his face. He is short & small but is really long. He is 2 years old yet he is still half the size of my other adult cats.

My cat is having kittens and we live in the country. There are about a million places she can go and I can't find her. Will she come home to eat if she gets hungry or will she have to stay with her kittens all the time? She's not declawed but I'm still worried she won't leave them to hunt. What should I do?

No running, no excess movement. Just real fast breathing and no other symptom.

I have a cat named Rusty and he has been tested for feline leukemia and he`s` clean and I have him spayed now.So far I have spend about 500.00 dollars on him because twice when he was outside(he is a very mild mannered cat)other cats tend to pick on him on every time he gets bitten he gets an abscess and has to have surgery to have it drained.Has anyone else had this problem and how do I handle it?It`s` getting way to expensive!
