The cat I am talking about has been doing this for over a year now. She is around 4 years old. There's no rhyme or reason to it-she'll go if she's in heat or not, if the litter is clean or dirty. I can't figure it out. She'll urinate on othe color things but it seems minutes after I put something white out, towels, sheets, blankets, she's attracted to it and has to urinate on it.

Yellow is a really bright color so it cant taint anything that isnt bright itself. White is the brightest thing and the easiest to show the mess they made.

Cats are really color blind. They see only three colors so I doubt that it is the color that is attracting it. It might be the smell or something else. I am presuming that the cat you are talking about is young. Does it have the proper litter. Maybe if you posted some more info, I could be a little more helpful.

The reason is they find it very clean and not marked on. They want to claim it as their own. If the white thing had a substantial amount of color a little cat wouldn't pee on it becuase they are not as dominant.
