i hope he is not bullimic.. LOL!!
I will feed him Tuna, then the will keep heaving and not bring anything up.
Could there be a problem!
He is normally really hyper and darting across the flat all day!
I am guessing it is a hairball.

Yes, it could be a fur ball, BUT how fast is kitty eating?
My baby ( 11 months) eats so fast sometimes because he doesnt want his brother to get any, and that happens to him also.
If you are really concerned contact your vet.
Good luck.
Believe it or not, he knows NOT to heave on the rug.

It could be a hairball there is a hairball treatment you can buy from pet shop. made by johnsons hairball remedy costs about 3 pounds just rub a little on his nose see if that helps. He may also have a tummy upset and normal food is too rich. try him on a little chicken and fresh white fish for 24 hours the gradually re introduce food if he still does it you have to take him to the vet its the time of year people plant grass seeds and they are very poisioness to cats but because of the bone meal in them cats tend to find them tasty. give him plenty of water. you could also get him some charcoal tabs from pet shop that hopefully will soak aup any poision, if any

Quite possibly a hairball or it may be some of the tuna juice is going down his wind pipe and he is trying to cough it up..
Hope this is not the only thing you feed him though. They need a variety of meats like different types of fish and poultry. I used to give my kittie (before he left me) giblets along with his diet. Very cheap and they love it!
Hope my suggested answer helps.

Throwing up is a element of the finished marking their territory while they see yet another cat. I even have 2 cats and if one has a hairball that has nutrition in it, the different will run over and mark the section with its paw to objective to "take its section back". If i'm not domicile, the different cat would attempt to discover something like a bite of laundry and canopy it. in case you supply it a while the resident cat will ultimately comprehend that the hot cat isn't likely everywhere. as quickly as this happens that is going to start up up its primary eating ordinary back.

Maybe it is a hairball? My cat was doing the same thing last year and i rang up the vet, they told me to let him eat grass as this would help him to get rid of it, and it worked. But i do think you should ask your vet. X x

hi Lily
it could poss be a furball, cats do that at times, i am a cat lover myself and mine used to gag each time he ate, sometimes they go out and eat grass to clear ther digestive system out so it is possible that has happened too, there's nothing to worry about but if you are really concerned then have the cat checkd out just incase.. i think maybe you should just feed your cat tuna every now and then instead of regularly and introduce it to meat sometimes too, the tuna may contain oil or brine which may be upsetting it's little tummy, poor little mog lol..
p.s i got your message too but it says that your not allowing messages to go through to you, is there a way that i can contact you? i would like to talk about the subject you posed recently about your mum?
regards
tatty

99% sure it's just a hairball that he is having trouble getting up. Let him go out and eat some grass. That is what they normally do to make themselves sick to get rid of all the hair they swallow.

At best it's a hairball. At worst it can be Key-Gaskell syndrome which requires serious medication.

Your cat could have some king of growth in its throat...It could be causing problems such as difficulty breathing.
Even if it isn't a cyst take it to your vet immediately.
