A lot of people as in little kids. Two of them but he was still scared. AND i had a birthday party last night. But now, everyone has been gone for a better part of 5 hours and he's still shaking. I don't know why!

I had 2 cats and added a third because a friend moved into senior housing and can't have pets. The added cat at first used litter box but can't stand one of the other cats because he gets in her face and she doesn't want to play with him.
Now she will use paper I put in a corner but not the box.
Tried giving her, her own box, but the other cats always find it and use it too.
She is not physically ill, very territorial of me and will use my clothing ifsomething is on the floor.

Any suggestions?

My cat LOVES to eat the following: Yogurt, chocolate pudding, strawberries, oatmeal, apples, green beans, orange juice. Does anyone else's cat like to eat stuff like that? I think that is so weird!

We only buy 3 cans at a time since soft food is their weekend treat. The 'cuts and gravy' style they would walk away from but the other style in the same brand disappears like water down a drain. I'm glad they are so smart.

He is a house cat, ie does not go outside, and uses a tray. There are three other cats in the house - one male kitten, one neutered femal and one non-neutered female. They do not smell. Unfortunately, after being on my lap the smell lingers, and clothes have to be washed. Is he ill? Or is this normal? It may be seasonal, as it comes and goes.

Ok so my cat had kittens last week and she does not like dogs that are loud and rambuncsus and I LOVE dogs and I have wanted one for so long but my mom said no and now we have a chance to watch a dog for 5 days in 2 weeks. He vever gois upstairs and he is very clam but also he is sorta og big. He is and english lab and I need this but I`m worried it will disturb my precise can. She likes dogs who are small and quiet but this dog is big and quiet. Would it be ok if we take care of him?

She has not eaten the placenta and she is letting the kitten lay there still attached to it. It is alive and it is the second kitten of the litter. Will it be okay until she actually notices it? I have had dogs who have had puppies before, but I have no idea about the cat. She seems to know what she is doing and I have no clue how to help her or what to do for the kitten still attached to the placenta. And does anyone know the average time a cat is in labor?

Please any cat nutritionsists out there: I would like to cook for my cat, especially with this story about cat foods that cause kidney failure. But also because fresh premium products that I buy for myself are definitely better that by-products and artificial flavourings put in cat foods. But I need to know what is required for a balanced diet. I know cats mostly eat proteins (meat, fish, chicken). But should I add any carbs, like rice, or egg, or some veg, carrots, etc?

My cat had surgery 4 weeks ago. He was in the vets with 10 stiches on the side of his face and a cone on his head for 3 weeks, I have him home with the cone for 1 week. He had a biopsy which came back negitive. Blood came back also negative. Why is it still not healed? Vet just says give it more time. I'm really nervous, and feel so bad for my cat, although he has been a real trooper. Appreciate any input, thanks!

She is about 15 years old...in good health otherwise....this has been happening for a while...The vet gave her no medicine and seemed to dismiss it as being caused by her age....After getting sick she seems to be fine...and actually can turn right around and eat again...I was wondering if maybe she had something like acid reflux ..like humans....All suggestions appreciated....

For nearly 10 months in 2002 and early 2003, a PETA investigator went undercover at an Iams contract testing laboratory and discovered a dark and sordid secret beneath the wholesome image of the dog- and cat-food manufacturer: dogs gone crazy from intense confinement to barren steel cages and cement cells, dogs left piled on a filthy paint-chipped floor after having chunks of muscle hacked from their thighs; dogs surgically debarked; horribly sick dogs and cats languishing in their cages, neglected and left to suffer with no veterinary care.

I just learned this after buying Iams dog food and will never buy it again....will you?

We have regularly fed them IAMS for years. Now we find out it has been recalled. What is a cat food I can purchase from the store that is good quality and not cheap? (We only want to feed our cats the best.)

I bought my cat some go-cat sachets and did'nt realise til i got home that its got carrot in it. Cats are meat-eaters not vegetarians. now my cat thinks that im starving him cos he wont eat the food i put down for him.
