We only buy 3 cans at a time since soft food is their weekend treat. The 'cuts and gravy' style they would walk away from but the other style in the same brand disappears like water down a drain. I'm glad they are so smart.

My cat did the same thing! He would meow and get excited at feeding time, but walk away from it. I'm worried about what to feed him now. I try to look for the best quality food, but now I don't know what to get him. I think that he could sense something wrong with it. Thank goodness!

My cats never did like the "cuts and gravy". They would lap up the gravy but leave the cuts sometimes. However, i had quit buying the canned cat food and went to buying canned mackerel and salmon for them. Mine only get as a treat as well. Good thing your cats didn't care for it though. Also, my cats never did like the store-brand cat food.
