I currently live with my mom, and I'm thinking about moving to my dad's house. I love my cat to death and want to bring him with me. I'm scared though that it would be bad to seperate him and my sister's cat. There is also a dog at my dad's house and max hasn't been around dogs before. The dog is sweet tempered, but I'm wondering if this is too much for my cat to handle. I would be heartbroken if I couldn't take him, but I want what's best for him.

My cat just had kittens, but where i'm living at I can not keep them, so we are looking for a house. My question is, are there any animal shelters out there that will keep her and her 4 kittens for about 2 months, then let us come back and get them? I have no problem if they happen to find the kittens a good home, but we definitely want our momma cat back with us. Please help if you can. Thank You.

Everytime my cats have treats i share them out evenly, today they had a piece of chicken each. Tootsie my one cat likes to eat slowly and she takes her time but Lotty is just greedy! She guzzles hers down so fast she barely has time to chew! Then she goes straight over to Tootsie smacks her and steals her treat and eats it before i can get it off her! So when I give Toots another treat she does the same thing! Then toots has no treats and i feel mean! I cant lock them in different rooms because they feed from the same bowl and squirting her with water doesnt work because she just runs away with food in her mouth, if tootsie finishes before lotty she doesnt steal her food! What can I do?

My cat loves to play in water and get wet. The last it rained he came inside all soaked and muddy. His paws are white but now they look dark brown. Is it ok if I give him a bath?

i had two cats a boy and a girl who were brother and sister, they've both lived with us there whole lives therefore they have never been seperated. today the little girl cat got hit by a car and died instantly, when we were burying her we let her brother just sniff her a bit in hope that it will help him understand shes dead. i'm so worried for him because after he sniffed her he started shivering incontrollably, we took him inside were he lay in her bed and slept for a while. can animals get depressed? we also have a dog who he's close to but he's had his sister his whole life and they have never been apart. i'm worried he is going to get terribly lonely. any ideas on what to do next??

We took then to a vet and the vet told us that they both have a punctured lung. The kittens have benn left in a room by themselves with there mother. I randomly cheked up them throughout the day. Any ideas what could have caused the injury? They were born about a week early.

We just adopted a cat that is pregnant. Her previous owner said that she should give birth anytime. She escaped from the garage and was gone for two days. We finally found her and she is still pregnant. Should I put her in our garage with a litter pan? I am asking because she is not used to being inside. I just want her and the kittens to be safe. Will she be alright inside, and will she use a litter box if she is used to being outside? I am concerned because I have never had an animal that had babies. I just want what is best for her. Her owner said she is huge, I don't think she is really that big. I suppose they knew how big of a cat she was before she was pregnant. Any advice would be so appreciated!!

I just got a new kitty yesterday. I adopted her from a shelter near my house. She is about two years old. I brought her home and she seems to be doing great... she hides a little but she comes out when I call her, and she doesn't seemed really stressed out or anything... She is eating and drinking normally, but she hasn't used her litterbox at all since I brought her home. She hasn't gone anywhere else either because I have been checking. Its been almost a whole day, and I know that's probably getting a little uncomfortable for her! Should I try a new kind of litter? or try moving the litterbox yet? I don't know if it's just the stress of moving to a new home that may be stressing her a little even though she is acting fine? I want to call the shelter but they are closed today and tomorrow.. any ideas???

My cat is always attacking my daughter, and I think its because my cat is jealous of my daughter...When my daughter is laying in my bed watching TV the cat will jump up and attack her, (attack her meaning bites her legs,arms,and feet ) everytime my daughter goes in and out my room the cat will attack her, oh..and when she's eating in the kitchen the cat will attack her...Its frustrating because she LOVES the cat and has ALWAYS treated the cat kindly and has never did anything to hurt the cat...... my cat is 8 months and my daughter is 5 years old ..she just sits and cries after she has been attacked and when I try to punish the cat she runs and hides..I've had this cat since it was born

We think that my cat is pregnant because her nipples are big and light pink. She also has sores on her lower abdomen, on the right side. There are four spots. I think it may be ringworm, but I can't tell. If it is ringworm, can it hurt or kill the kittens?
