It would depend on the momma and how stressful it would be to her. She will start hiding them if she is stressed out over the visitors. It would be OK for people to handle them at 4 weeks.
Do you realize that for every 1 person born, there are 7 puppies and kittens
born? At best, 1 will find a forever home.
And don't forget, that every "Free-to-good-home" litter takes homes away
from animals already at the shelter.

STOP letting your pets; or your friends, relatives or co-workers pets
contribute to the problem.
If you love animals, it is NOT ENOUGH to merely say "My pets are fixed".
Vow to educate and enable others to fix their pets too.
Spaying just 1 female dog or cat, will prevent 6 others from ending up in a
shelter the following year.
Please be part of the solution, NOT the problem!
Thank you. ^..^

Keep everyone away for the first couple of weeks. Kittens need time to build their immune systems up and this is done through Mama's milk. I wouldn't let anyone play with them or see too much of them until they have had their first set of vaccinations (6 wks). Also - if mama is high-strung, you need to just let her take are of them and not maul the babies. It will stress the mama out and she could react badly.

Do take them all into the vet's for a checkup - recommended after any birth. If you want everyone to see them, take a few pictures - then you don't have to stress the litter out.

Kittens are the BEST - but make sure that allow them to mature properly. You can handle them minimally, but don't let a lot of people play with them. They need to get used to the world a little.

People can see your kittens anytime now, but they must be very, very quiet. They should not touch them for about 4 weeks. Keep the mother cat and her kittens in a quiet, dim place for a couple of weeks right now. Good luck and God bless!

People came and saw my kittens the day they were born. We started handling them at a day old (carefully) and at a few days old, I let others hold them. Obviously, only attempt to hold them if the mother allows it and do it near the birth box where they stay.

My vet told me to handle them as early as possible. The earlier they are handled, the more socialized they become. So, by all means, if momma cat allows it, pet them and hold them.

They can look at them at any time. No touching until they start moving too far away from Mom.

Its probably ok to let people see them now, as long as they dont crowd them or touch them.

Just give them space, especially the mother cat, and its probably ok.
