My cat is dieing and I think it has something to do with the food, but when I look at the recall list the brandname isn't on there could there possible be another contamination or is my cat just dieing becuase of ffailing kidney's I mean she didn't start acting weird until we opened the friska's(sp) bag. I mean I would be very sad if the food company had something to do with this she was just fine a week ago when she was with me when I was digging.

I have two Siamese kittens from different litters (from different states NOT related) One male seal and one female. I want to eventually breed them for at least one litter of kittens before neutering them, maybe more the one litter and recoup some of the $600 I spent for the two cats.I got the cats because I like male cats and my siamese recently died of old age and Ive been devastated to say the least, but after seeing how similar they are in appearance but one is snowshoe(thats why i got her she looks just like my baby who died recently)The male is registered purebred the female is a Seal/Snowshoe but not registered. Any knowledge of will I be able to register their kittens with only a male with papers and cycles how many litters a year do cats have? What age do you need to wait until cat is ready, when is females first heat and tips for keeping male away from female during first heat when I assume she will too young.Thanks..

How can I make this happen without feeling quilty, when he sets on the window seal looking out looking sad. I love him to death and I want to do whats best for him.

I have two male and one female. The female won't go in the box unless i put her in. she goes in front of it instead, I'm at the end of my rope and I have no idea what to do.

YES I clean the box, and on a regular basis, NO I haven't switched the placement or the box, nor have I changed the litter brand.

HELP, I love her, and I can't put her outside, we live in TX and it's to hot and she has long hair.

When we first brought him home it was a giant problem. We have had it curbed for awhile now. We even have this ritual every day when we get home and we look all over the living room and then we praise him and he rolls over on his back and we say "good boy, no poopies" lol. But every now and again, he poops behind the couch. We always find it shortly after he does it. To punish him we shut him in the basement (where the litter boxes are) for an hour or so. We dont say anything, just ignore him. He is so social and loving we figured that was good punishment. We keep the litter boxes clean. We have 2 other cats who have NEVER made any mistakes. The pooper is the newest addition. Any ideas? Why does he only do it sometimes now? like once every 6 weeks or so.

You go to the pound or Petsmart on weekends and see all of the homeless kitties that are up for adoption KNOWING full and well that if they don't get adopted in a couple months they will be put to sleep? (most.. not all shelters do.. MOST do though!) It makes me so sad. I hate to go in there because I feel guilty.. but then again, I can't have anymore pets. They just all look at me from their cage asking me to PLEASE take them home and save them.

Weird question.. sorry. I was just there today and it makes me hurt.

i understand that there are way to many cats in the world but what right do people have to badger others to get their pets fixed. it makes me mad that when you ask a question and really need a answer people come up with fix your pet. I feel that if you have a health cat and you have the means to take care of it and find a good home for the kittens and you know what your doing that you should be able to breed your pets. I just bred my cat with my mothers cat, she has had the father and grandfather from the male she has now, and i want a baby from my cat,(and for all you people out there the cats are not related). so my question again is why do you feel the need to tell people to fix their animals. what right do you have?

If a cat is pregnant, when do they start eating more (how far into the pregnancy, what week?), when do they stop eating (i heard 3 days before delivery?), and when do the nipples enlarge?

I'm trying to figure out when this cat my neighbor gave me would be due to give birth. Thanks.

I love to decorate my apartment with fresh cut flowers from the store. Unfortunately, my kitty loves to eat them. I am aware that flowers can be toxic to cats, but am unsure which ones. Does anybody know what kinds of flowers are not toxic to cats so I can have my kitty and my flowers, too? Thanks!!

Lately she saw a moth flying around, and she got a few good swipes at it, and then it flew away and she couldn't find it. Now she's searching all over the house with eyes as big as saucers and she's meowing alot. She's looking at me as if I did something with it (I didn't.). I've tried playing with her, but no success. She has plenty of clean litter, food, and water.

What's her deal?

My cat is overweight with a large, loose hanging pooch. I have been reading that too many carbs in dry food is bad for cats and that if I give her more meats and protiens, i.e. restricting her diet to low carb-canned foods that she will loose some of the weight. Has anyone tried it?
