I'm pretty sure he has ear mites but it doesn't look severe. He's a year old and goes in and out of the house as he pleases, and he does not have his shots.

I'm not going to a vet and the ketamine is all mine. It doesn't seem to be bothering him, but I swiped it with an isopropyl alcohol soaked q-tip. What now?

We just have gotten a new litter box for our cats. I was wondering if it is okay to put it near their food. I don't see why not but I'm just being careful.

i love my cats so much, i have 7 cats, and one is pregnant, but none of them have there shots or anything, do u think im a bad peson for not giving them shots, because i cant afford them, and i dont know what to do

My cat just got over a really terrible respiratory infection, and she was hooked up to an IV for six days because she wouldn't eat. Then we brought her home, and I guess being in her comfortable atmosphere made her hungry, because she just wants to chow down! This is great news, but how much food can her stomach handle right now?

She's about five years old and she weighs around 7 lbs. She usually eats about a cup of food a day but I thought maybe she'd want to start small..?

this is just a general question. my cats are healthy, fit etc and i only mean this in a general sense. seems like the hurl at least 2ce a month, every cat i've ever had has done this. anyone know the reason?

i have a 7 month old female cat who is spayed. the other day i was doing laundry and in the dirty clothes i found cat feces...then today while i was vacuuming i noticed her back in the clothes hamper pawing at the dirty towels...i thought she was just playing but then she squatted and peed. why did she do this? and what should i do to let her know this is wrong...she has always used her litter box...so i am confused as to why she is doing this.

We got a 12 week old kitten the other day (its about to spend its 2nd night here), i was thinking of getting her a playmate cos some days theres no one in from 9 till 6. Shes very affectionate and likes to lick us and sit on our laps, and shes been littered trained, no messes yet!

So the questions are...
Should we get another kitten?
Male or female? (Shes not been spayed yet but will be in a few months)
If we do get another should we get one within the next week or would a months time matter to much?

We are looking for a vet that is still open. But in the mean time what can we do???

He is limping and not putting too much weight on his left leg. What can we do to alleviate the pain? Ice? How would be able to know if it is broken??? Please help

Should I take him to the vet? It's a clean split about 1cm long from the top and he has cleaned it himself and removed the blood. It doesn't seem to bother him and he went back out again an hour later and didn't come home for several hours, when he just sauntered in as normal. I'm a bit loath to fork out for vets bills if the ear will heal itself.

About 2 weeks ago I rescued a supposed pregant female cat. I took her to the vet last friday which was a waste of money, the stupid VET said she didn't know if she was pregant she COULDN'T TELL. So it's been a week now and this cat has just recently gotten huge, I called my friedn who works for a vet who told the vet my sitation and the vet said not to worry, to feed her and let her be but keep an eye on her. I might be overacting. She is very happy and nice. But the other day she bite me.. so I don't know whats going on. She's been wormed and is very healthy. She has also started to eat more.
