The best estimate of cat gestation is 63-65 days. This will only help if you know when your cat was bred.

Right before birth, she will become restless and possibly more affectionate. She will start to lick her genitals and will find a dark, quiet spot to have her kittens.

I hope this helps!! Humans are pregnant 9 months - cats 9 weeks. This is one easy way to remember. I am awaiting the arrival of my first litter of kittens!! We are so excited:)

Feline pregnancy lasts 65 days = about 2 and a half months.

If Patches has been fat longer then maybe she's just eating too much, just put her on the diet by not leaving food available all the time but letting her feed 1-3 times a day. I did that to my cat 5 years ago when she was huge, she lost the weight and hasn't gained it back since.

Also, go see your vet, because there may be other things that we don't know about, such as viruses or illness that can be prevented if noticed early.

The gestation period for a cat ranges from 58 to 69 days. On average, think about nine weeks or 63 days.

Ok, did your cat mate with a male cat. If so, then it takes about 2-3 weeks until the babies come out.
