I guess people just don't understand how thier irresponcibility is really killing cats and kittens. for every 1 kitten born at least 2 are killed in animal shelters.

Honestly?

It pisses me off to no end. If you don't know anything about gestation/breeding, you have no place being irresponsible or allowing your pet to reproduce. There are plenty of animals that need homes.

Why would it piss me off?

Well ..
We could mention the amount of infectious diseases, birth complications, deaths, euthanasias performed, irresponsibility, and stray cats...

all that can be solved with neutering/spaying.

I seriously don't understand how someone doesn't want to pay for neutering/spaying (since it's fairly cheap), but are completely willing to allow their pet to have offspring.

It's even more irresponsible, when they "don't have the money" to pay for the unexpected veterinary costs when birthing doesn't go as planned.

It's irresponsible.
If you can't afford the vet, you can't afford the pet.

Absolutely. First because it could have been prevented by spaying and neutering, but also because they are asking basic questions while their cat is giving birth. These are things that they should have researched as soon as they realized the cat was pregnant, and they should have talked to their vet to find out what to do.
