I live in the country, barn, fields all around me and I have a medium sized pet rabbit that hops in and out of his bunny house, missing 3 days. There is a stray cat that shows up now and then, would it kill my bunny?

My cat hates baths as I assume most cats do. He loves playing with water but hates getting wet. I've tried warm water, cold water, the shower. He won't take any of it without screaming bloody murder and clawing up my arms to get away.
After the bath he will try his hardest to hide from me when I want to dry him off.
Is there a way that has worked for any of you people? Anything to make it a less painful experience for me and more enjoyable for him? Both of us will appreciate your answers.

My cat got sick about the same time that some pest control service "baited and trapped rats" in my alley. I suspect they used somekind of poison (even though they didn't say on the sign they put up), because my cat got sick really bad and the vet asked me if there had been any pest control by my house recently. Did this ever happen to anyone, and can I get the vet bill reimbursed by the pest control company?

I'm trying to find a home for my cats, because they're getting too expensive to keep. They were ferals, but I trained them. In fact, they learned to use the litter box in 24 hours! They're smart and loveable. I want to find them a happy place to live, where they'll be well taken care of, but I've looked all over the place, and all the animal shelters seem to be full--I can't find anyone to take them in. I need to move them out ASAP. Anyone have iny information for me?

Should I take my cat to the vet to have him castrated or just do it myself? I have scissors, rum, a needle, and thread. I've used these to give myself stitches before and it's always worked. I know the cat can drink and get drunk from the rum. He's done it before.

Would recovery be a problem?

So I'm getting two new kittens on Sunday, and have no idea what to name them They are brothers, and one is all black, and the other is black and white. I know that once I get them and see their personalities it will easier to name them, but I just thought I would get some ideas from people in the meantime...

So our cat figured out that rattling the blinds will annoy us enough to get up and feed him in the morning. Haha, very clever. He used to only do this after the alarm clock, now he is starting to do it as early as 330 am... I'm guesing whenver he get's hungry. We've tried blocking his acess to the window, but he pushes thru. Feeding him is the only way to get him to stop, but I'm know it only encourages him. What to do?

My kitten is now roughly 4 weeks old, and is still being bottle fed. She has been eating much better.

Anyways, she bites. Hard. It's like she goes into a little convulsion while she's doing it, she grabs something with her claws and presses herself against it and really sinks her teeth into it. At first, it was just me she would do this too, and then it became my friends. She breaks skin all the time now, nothing works, even scruffing her doesn't make her let go. The only way she'll let go is if i either spray her with water or if she gets tired of doing it after a few minutes. Lately the water spraying has been less and less effective.

She does it to her bottle, too. Today she pulled the nipple off and almost swallowed it. HELP! I had to reach in with my fingers and pull it out of her throat while she was making choking sounds. I don't know what to do, i'm afraid to bottle feed her after that but i can't get her interested in a saucer. I need suggestions.

I've heard conficting statements about cats eating yogurt for humans. You know... Kitty loves coming up to me and sampling my peach yogurt, and I'd assume the cat knows what is good or bad for her, however I don't want her to get sick from it (the lactose). My mother says that fruit yogurt isn't good, only plain yogurt. Just want to make sure. The most she ever really gets anyways is never more than a spoonful.

We've had our cat for 5 years now without any problems re toilet training and spraying. Two nights ago he soiled and wet our spare bed. Last night he sprayed our (material) couch. I know the difference between soiling and spraying... I was wondering if there would be a reason he's just started doing this? And how do I prevent him from spraying our couch again? We are having it professionally cleaned today... Don't want to shell out $80 again if he does!! And please don't tell me to kill him etc. That's just ridiculous. Thanks.

I scrubbed it with dish liquid and water, then put on borax laundry soap and vacuumed that out then put on some ALL fabric refresher and none of that helped and it smells terrible. It was done by a nonneutered male cat. Any suggestions? Other than kill the cat which is what I feel like doing, instead I kicked him outside.
