Once he ran away and was gone for a week and 2 days. I don't want that to happen again. He worries me. What do I do to keep him from running away? (i cannot keep him inside or else he'll kill my bearded dragon)

One of my female cats does the same thing. The longest she's ever been gone is 8 days and we thought something got her. We live way out and she can roam through the woods. But she always finds her way back. At first we kept her in but she would drive us crazy with meowing. I think she found another home that feeds her and she goes to visit.

If you can't keep your cat inside where he's safe, then you should rehome him.
Last I checked most houses have doors, if you are worried about your bearded dragon put the dragon in a room, and shut the door so that cat can't go in there.

Can't you keep the bearded dragon somewhere that can be kept off limits to the cat? Spare room, attic, basement, in a closet when you are not there to stand guard?

Ehhh, how about rethink where you can place the dragons so the cat cant get to it like in a closed room? I haven't seen any cat that can open a door.

I'm afraid you'll have to get him neutered. He ducks off to look for a little loving amongst the trash cans.

well you can get him micro chipped so if he does get lost and the pound picks him up they will know who to call....try to give him lots of attention to let him know were is home is, give him treats once and awhile so he will want to come back. this is just his nature you cant really change it....hope everything works out
