its pee and poo in it - it lies there like it would if it was in bed - and then when it gets out it stinks! If the litter tray is dirty the cat smells, but it also smells if I have cleaned it out - cos smells of the anti-bac stuff the litter is treated with. Basically my cat stinks when it does this and I cant figure out how to stop him from lying in it - does anyone else have that problem and how do I stop it?

I've had a cold for the past few days and its become relatively obvious my kitten Gadget whos 10 weeks now (had her since she was 6 weeks) has a thing for my snot...I have no idea why, she rumages for them in my bin, I tried using a different bin around the house but she just went after them, she can smell them.
I guess I know it has my scent on it but its totally weird/gross, anyone know what the hell I'm on about or how to solve this problem?

Thanks

I have had my approx 1 yr old for nearly a month and I cannot get her to drink. We have tried cat milk, normal milk, water, cream even rice pudding and she wont touch it. Its now getting to the stage where she is just laying around all day and night. I am so worried. Please can someone help my poor baby?

Our female cat is about 6-7 months old. She just went into heat for the first time two days ago, and won't stop crying/meowing. We're planning on getting her "fixed" on Monday, but we're wondering what to do until then. We can't even get to sleep at night, the cat is so loud (even in the basement, doors closed, and a fan on in our bedroom).

Any suggestions on temporary solutions to make it through the weekend?

About two months ago I adopted two cats (sisters), and after a couple of weeks one of them went missing. The remaining cat is very affectionate and spends most of her time around the house but she miaows almost all of the time. To start with, I put it down to the fact that she was probably grieving for her sister, but it isn't easing up and I can't think what to do to help her, (plus, it's getting a little bit annoying now). Any suggestions that might help would be greatly appreciated??

My cat (15) wasn't feeling well this morn. I couldn't get her to meow (which is way UNSUSUAL for her), she wouldn't eat, wouldn't come up to get petted, but just about 5 min ago seems to have gotten better.
I wonder if she had the flu?

I got my cat Prince neutered yesterday, he's 10 months old. Here's the problem. He hasn't used the litter box since we brought him home. Which is around 30 hours. He also hasn't went anywhere in the house, and he's spending all his time sleeping (NOT like him) and the odd time he will get up to eat and drink. Should I be concerned?

be neutered? I don't want to cause him stress but if I am to take care of him for the rest of his life I need to be able to let him in my home without him stinking the place out and going missing every few weeks, He has been missing over christmas . we thought it was as his owner was in hospital but he was courting!! another cat up the road.
Serious answers only please. I would like to keep this cat in the neighbourhood it knows and not send it to a rehoming center.

I've had my cat since he was 3 months old and had him neutered at 6 months. He's now 6 years old and all his life he's gotten very turned on when ever I'd stroke him. His voice would suddenly change to a deep yowl and he'd try humping my arm or leg!! It can be very embarrassing if friends are over. Soon after I had him neutered I took him back to the vets and asked if they'd removed everything they should have and after checking he suggested my cat just had an 'overwhelming attachment to me!'
I've heard of this in dogs a lot but never before in cats. Has anyone else got a cat like this and managed to cure him?
