That's not a good idea. Your cat uses his whiskers as 'feelers'. He knows whether or not his body will fit in a particular place (behind the couch, for instance) based on how his whiskers touch his surroundings. Leave him be.

Absolutely NOT! The whiskers on a cat are a sensitive navigation system that allows the cat to judge width of space to squeeze through and also provides balance when walking along fences. They act similarly to a high wire walkers balance pole.
If you cut them you will damage your cat for a long time to come.

Never, ever trim a cat's whiskers. They are what he uses to sense things around them. They are sort of like antennae on an insect. They are they for a reason and leave them alone. Touche pas!

No. Cats use whiskers for feeling around when it's dark, when trimmed they lose some of that ability until they grow back.

NOOO! Dont do that. Cats use their whiskers to smell and observe things. It would not be good for ur cat to have short or no whiskers. So just leave them there.

No, it is not a good idea to trim your cats whiskers. They use them for stuff. It would be just like trimming off a humans finger. Please don't hurt your cat.

You should NEVER CUT A CATS WHISKERS. They use them to feel if they can fit through holes in fences to behind furniture. To cut them even a little will cause kitty great harm.

As you can probably guess from the other answers, I am going to say no. The whiskers fall out themselves when they get old and your cat will regenerate new ones.

No because like their tail they need them for ballance. If you cut your cats whiskers you will throw them off ballance and they will fall down. It's also cruel. There was a story once about a guy that did that and was arrested for cruelity to animals. Think about it... would you want someone cutting off your toes?

NO, It won't do any lasting harm but cats use thier whiskers as a sensory device and cutting them would temporarily rob them or limit their function
