I started him on the ointment 6 days ago. 3-4 Times a day. His eyes were really green discharge the first day and swollen red, that is why we initially saw the vet. But it seems there is still discharge. ( Not as bad) The first notice of change was the following day. But very minimal change and no change since then. Will it take longer? He is only suppose to be on it 10days and already on it 6. I thought by now there would be more inprovement. The outlines of his eyes are sometimes red and his eyes are always running. I am always removing the discharge and keep his eyes clean with warm water. Should he have another vet visit? She said upper respitory. At the time it was only his eyes. No nasal discharge, or sneezing. Seems this morning he may have tried to cough up some phleme. But appread like it could have been a hair ball. He is 7 weeks old. Thanks for any help.

Am I the only cat owner who does NOT have a cat odor problem in thier home?
I'm always reading on here that cats are smelly, and make your home smell bad, Which is not always the case, if your cat has been fixed and well litter trained.
How many other people have a perfectly tidy kitty?

We have lived together for a year and a 1/2. I know for a fact he hates cats...he has hounds that are tought to tree coons and mountain cats at his parents house...and they train on house cats. He is trying , and he has fed her her "dinner" (soft food before bed) to see if she would warm up to him again. She used to lay on him just the same as me or any other guy/girl that came to visit. She is a lover. This also might have started when he kicked her out of the bed (not literally) and shuts the door because she wakes him up by licking and readjusting or she would just walk on him. She has slept with me since baby years...6 years ago, and now she isn't aloud in the room, is that why? My fiance is a gentle person, I have known him since we were 14, so I don't think he is going to abuse me, although I know cats respond that way so it has crossed my mind. I just want this fixed because they are jelous of eachother and it is getting old! I have to slot "special" time with each of them.

My husband and I have 2 cats, sisters. And they have started peeing on things. They are almost 3, spayed, and NEVER had this problem before. Why now would they randomly start? What can we do to fix/help them? We cannot keep them if they continue, and I really don't wanna give them up. HELP!

We have a cat approximately 3 years old. She is spending more time indoors now (with the very cold temps here) and she absolutely will not use a litterbox. We have two other cats who are housebroken, but this particular cat will go to the bathroom right outside the box, or wherever she feels the need. She has been spayed and has a very good demeanor and is very loving and calm. Unfortunately she never performs her duties in the sand box. Can anyone help?

My cat have got or scratched a wound on her back, that I suppose is caused by having fleas. This cat is outdoor must of the days and nights. If I - against her will - wash her, she will soon catch new fleas next night. Do you know any 'trick' that I can use to keep her free of fleas ???

I have a 18 year old cat whose back legs collapse (this has happened 4 times now but they start to work normally within 30 mins), but last night from 11pm to 4am her back legs collapsed, then her front paws and head twitched very badly. At times there was no response from her, her eyes were open but there was no reaction at all. Taking her to the vet is extremely difficult as she turns into a wild animal the minute they try to get near her.

After reading all of your replies I have just phoned and spoken to my vet, he says that they are seizures and as long as she comes out of them (which she does), it is not a reason to have her put down as apart from them she is healthy.

Kittens are approx 16 wks old and we've had them for a month. They will come to us to take food out of our hands but wont let us touch them. Some people have suggested cornering them, getting them in a towel and carrying them around. What does everyone think? I tried this with one of them all it did was scare him. Do we wait for them to come to us? Will they ever?

My cat hurt her foot and had to have stitches put in this morning. We're going to pick her up this afternoon. The vet told us that we must try our best to keep the bandage on so that she doesn't bite open her stitches. Do you have any suggestions on how to stop her from pulling off the bandage? Thanks

My next oor neighbours cat has moved in. in general she's well behaves and no hassle. However recently she has been pooping, peeing and being sick in our living room and on our beds. we have now closed all the doors so she can't get into any rooms unless we're there too. So she seems to have taken to doing it on her own bed. She is quite old, we think 16-18. HELP!
