Animals are very intelligent and they can feel when somebody doesn't like them. Are you sure your fiance is a gentle person towards your cat?
Maybe he's like my father used to be. He would be so sweet towards my mom's dog and behind her back he'd do stuff. Luckily, we caught him one time.
i'm not saying that your cat is being abused, but i would definitely take your cat's reaction towards your boyfriend into serious consideration.
If your boyfriend is jealous of your cat.. that is very ridiculous. It sounds like he has no reason to. For heaven's sake.. this is a little animal we're talking about, not another guy friend.

Your fiance is not accepting you for who you are. He is not respecting you have other interests besides him,If it wasn't the cat it would be something else. You fiance is acting like a child. Geeze, how much power does he need??? and this is just one of the first indications of his power over YOU...not kitty.
Please read this to your most important female confidant.. like mom or your best friend ...I am sure the man is gentle now and now is the time to tell him....this is not about my damn cat.
Special time with each of them is a crazy cycle that is going to be really hard on you all really soon....I recommend you and boyfriend get therapy...mainly because you are being emotionally abused and don't even know it.. One of the first signs is when you feel like you are squeezed in a corner desperately trying to do whats right for everybody and cant. The squeeze gets harder until you do what he wants ( in this case he wants you to just stop and get rid of your cat, so he you and the dogs can relax together and its all good) and you relent and your life gets easier until the next time,,, you are about to lose your cat.Even now you are looking around helplessly...Whats next?
Call your mom.

We had a cat the used to be very friendly until this one person came and stayed with us. Even though the person seemed nice to the cat in front of us he was very abusive to it when we were out of the room. After a few days the cat was always hiding and it's personality changed dramaticly. The person left but the cat never again regained it's original sweet personality. It became mean and suspicious of everyone. It would look at us as though we were the ones responsible for allowing that jerk to abuse her. She didn't ever trust us again either.
You have to sit down and have a talk with your boyfriend and explain to him that your cat has been your pet sinse childhood and should be treated with as much respect as anyone else in your family. As far as sharing the bed together tell him to get used to it because your cat comes with the package. Tell him to get with it or get out.

Yes, your cat doesn't like him because he has kicked her out of bed. For all the effort he has put in it isn't enough, or at least it isn't the right kind of effort. Maybe he can find other ways of dealing with her unwanted morning attention, like diverting her to you. Maybe he could try sucking it up for your benefit and let the cat be affectionate towards him.
I had a friend that didn't like cats. Years ago she was going through a hard time and was staying at our house. She was feeling ill and achy and my Kitty went in to her and curled up next to her and the warmth made my friend feel a hundred times better. Now, she has a cat of her own. Point is, people can learn to love cats if they give them a chance. For you, your fiance should be able to try to care for the cat, because the cat is someone you care for.

Sometimes cats don't like the sound of a man's voice. One of my neighbors had her boyfriend over and both cats ran because of how deep and strong the man's voice was. Maybe because before you go your cat a man abused your cat. That is what happened to my neighbor's cat.

cats are very smart and they can tell when a person doesn't like them.your cat knows your boyfriend has no love for him...he is protective of you as your cat and you have a history together,,,,that's wrong that the cat is not allowed in your bedroom anymore.he looks to you like a child looks at their mom,,,show your cat extra love ;so he knows you still care about him,,,your bf is probably jealous of the cat also,,,,
