My cat hurt her foot and had to have stitches put in this morning. We're going to pick her up this afternoon. The vet told us that we must try our best to keep the bandage on so that she doesn't bite open her stitches. Do you have any suggestions on how to stop her from pulling off the bandage? Thanks

If the cat can get to it, she will chew it off. I'm surprised your Vet didn't put one of those things around her neck, those things that look like a satellite dish. Keeps them from being able to get at it. I've seen them on dogs, never on cats though. hmmmmm.
Maybe you could try putting that bitter stuff on the bandage that you use on furniture, etc. to keep animals from chewing on(dogs) or scratching on(cats) that might work. Other than that, I couldn't tell you.

The best thing is one of those funnel collars but cats hate them. You could try some bitter tasting stuff or some hot sauce. I'm wondering why the vet just didn't put a collar on her to begin with.

put one of those funnel shaped neck collars on her and super gule the bandage. or you could just cover the bandage with an ace bandage wrap. either or.
