I basically lately had a 17 year previous cat placed to sleep because she all started peeing on the carpet ... the vet idea she had diabetes and arthritis. It became right away that she all started doing this, and he or she had various well-being complications interior the perfect few years, so i determined that she would probable basically keep suffering. There will be various the reason why your cat is peeing ... it will be a urine an infection or she would have arthritis and performance hassle getting contained in the container now. i'd call your vet to work out in the journey that they could try her to confirm if there is something medically incorrect which includes her.

your cat is so old that it's gotten to the point that you have to feed her/him by hand and since she can not eat cat food any more trie baby food on stage 2. but the cat has to be fed at least 2 to 3 times a day. If you don't want to loose her that is the only way and if it does not work than take her to the vet. I'm so sorry that you are going through this but this remind me what my mother went through just give it lots of love and try to do what I said and see what happens ok.

I have an older cat and she gets tired of her food real fast . She goes days without eating I have taken her to the vet and she is healthy but skinny. She is driving me nuts I buy her a new bag of food every week. I have given her every kind of can food but she will stop eating that. She did really good with kitten food but now she has turned her nose to that. This will be the last cat I have for a long time.

at that age, any change in behavior, eating habits, etc. should be a red flag for you. You need to take her to the vet to make sure everything is okay medically. She is getting older and things can start to go wrong. It could just be that she has gotten finicky in her old age, but you should really bring her in for a check up to make sure everything is fine. It is good that she ate the chicken, keep it up until she tires of it..but I would still suggest a visit to the vet.

ANYTIME a cat at any age stops eating, there is something seriously wrong. As cats still have a lot of wild animal in them, they try and give no clues that they do not feel good, because in the wild that is a weakness and another animal will take advantage of them. Eating is usually the last thing a cat will give up. Please take her to the Vet immediately. I'm sure she is dehydrated as well. She is suffering and you need to decide what YOU want to do about it. Good luck with her.

Please listen to Katsmeow and others. She must eat and she must be taken to the vet to see how serious the problem is and if there is any possible solution for her. It is not right to make her suffer.
I rescued a cat at age 15 and she lived with me happily and healthfully for the next seven years so being that age does not necessarily mean that she has to go now. It sounds like you have waited too long to help your cat and she has reached a possible terminal stage so you must step up to the plate now and do what is right for her.

Hate to tell you this, but cats know when their time is up and yours does. If you do not want to wait for your cat to die so you can bury it in your yard, you should probably have it put to sleep. I have had two cats that went through this procedure, one was eighteen and the other was only eleven. Both times the vets told me that the problem was that the cats bodies were failing and that they would soon die on their own if I didn't have them put to sleep. As it was I just let them go naturally rather than pay to have them terminated.

put catnip in her food or table food like meat trust me I have 3 cats also go to the vets If this is a virus and she can't be cured you may have to put her out of her misery BUT it doesn't sound so bad a medication should do the trick. 4 of my cats died no we have a kitty grave in my backyard you may have to do the same. My cat Al had a infection we had to put him down........
