because cats by their nature love to be in safe when they walk around ur feets they feel that they r in safe and also they try to be close to u because cats are smart when u be close to them then u will feed them

Ow thats easy thay rub against your feet when u walk to leave there sent on you to say to other cats your there owner. And the sitting by your feet is a loyalty thing.

Lol cats are like children in that way when children want something they will suck up to you and when a cat wants a treat or to go outside they will rub up against you OR they just are showing you some love!! :)

my cat does the same thing. he is telling me he loves me. but he also wants tuna when I am in the kitchen.he will hit the backs of my legs when he wants to play hide and seek.

cats have scent glands around their mouth, so when they rub their face across you it's like they are marking their territory. cats are very territorial. have you ever seen your cats when they see another cat outside?
