Our female cat is about 6-7 months old. She just went into heat for the first time two days ago, and won't stop crying/meowing. We're planning on getting her "fixed" on Monday, but we're wondering what to do until then. We can't even get to sleep at night, the cat is so loud (even in the basement, doors closed, and a fan on in our bedroom).

Any suggestions on temporary solutions to make it through the weekend?

Yep unfortinatley this is what happens and there is nothing ( I am sorry to say) that you can do!!
Just pray that Monday comes quickly!
Check if there is any Tom cats hanging around and try and chase them away as this will make her cry out more

There's nothing really you can do. Just keep her inside and confined so that she can't get outside.

My Suzy went into her first heat before we could get her fixed too. She used to sleep with me, so you can imagine what I went through.

She'll stop after you get her fixed. You just have to hang on until Monday.

you have my sympathy. It is a very annoying meow too!!! Just try to get her fixed before she goes into heat the next time.

Hi there...in all honesty, the only way to manage through the weekend is...earplugs until your kitten is spayed. This is the kindest way without having to directly affect her.

Cant do anything about it. Check with your vet, getting them fixed while they are in heat usually costs more. If you wait until they are done it may be cheaper.
