I have a kitten and she's got a bell on her collar, doesn't seem too bothered by it, but do you think it's annoying to her? If cats have good hearing and are sensitive to sounds, I think it would be.

A friend and I are finally starting a kitty charity org. We trap, neuter and release feral (wild) cats, then feed them afterwards for their lifetime. We help other people do this too. If we come upon tame stray kitties, we find homes for them. We also will raise feral kittens to be tame at times. Our goal is to fight the stray kitty epidemic in our big city.

We can use a name that hasn't been used in Texas, so if you know of a cute org name from another state, we can use that.

I have 3 cats all neutered and spayed. One male started for no reason that I can see to spray all over. He does it when were standing there. We've sprayed him with water, chased him and yelled but he keeps doing it everywhere and anywhere he so desires. Is it a physical problem? What can we do to stop this behavior. Open to all suggestions except get rid of him. We found him in the wall when he was 2 days old and bottle fed him. He's like one of the kids.

I rescued a kitten about 8 months ago, and have had her since she was 2 weeks old, bottle feeding and all so I am very attached. I lived at home with 2 other older cats and she is very playful and loving. I just moved out 2 days ago so now she is all alone, so I got a new 4 1/2 month old kitten yesterday for her to play with, but she is acting really weird and growling and hissing and running away. I know its hard for them to adjust to new kittens because they are very territorial but does anyone out there have any tips or helpful ideas in going about this?! Thanks!

My youngest female cat starting peeing on our carpet, but when we realized what was going on, it was too late! We have since blocked the area, but the smell is overwhelming, I hate having guests over.

We have tried baking soda and vinegar, Kids N pets, and even a gallon of natures miracle, but to no avail.

We are at our wits end as this is an apt and we really don't want to lose our $1000 deposit.

PLEASE HELP

My vet just told me to use shredded Newspaper instead of cat litter for a few days but I have an extra bag of the Kaytee total comfort which is like recycled newspaper. Is this OK to use in his litter box?

I have a 4 month old kittie! Who has lived with us since day one! Not like he is in a new surronding!And he is the sweetest thing when he is calm!! But a lot of the time he will run back and forth thru the house! Attack whatever object in front of him..Not us but he makes me crazy!! For example he follows me in the kitchen, jumps up on his back legs, spreads his front legs like an attack kittie, then runs away like a nut case!!! It' hilarious but at the sametime when it is constant I am going nuts!!!Whats up with him?? He always has tons of affection, food, and clean litter!!! Why do they act like lil' brats??

I have to give my kitten antibiotics with a medicine dropper. He HATES it, and wiggles and refuses to open his mouth. I end up getting the medicine everywhere. Any suggestions??

I was just curious if un-neutered cats would mate in the winter time. I've seen cats, uh, 'in action' during the summer and fall but never in the winter. I just didn't know if they did that when it's super cold outside. :)

I'm really sad right now. I talk to my mom this morning, and she told me my sweet cat Boo Boo died yesterday. I had him for a year and some month. Come October, it would have been two years. If anyone has lost a pet they loved so much, I feel for you, and you could pay tribute here as I am. Thanks!

I have 5 cats 3 newted males and 2 spayed girls, there is a stray cat that has been coming in the kitchen he has a meal and stays in over night away from my cats they are all the other side of the kitchen door, he is very fluffy and has quite bad clumps of fur, im not sure if he is intact i cant see the usual signs being intact but can feel a couple of lumps, they could be testicals or more clumps of fur, my girls hate him, my boys are not to impressed, but they will ignore him if he stays out of thier way, the girls will hiss and swipe at him, i have treated him for fleas (and my lot) Im just a bit worried in case he has tryed to mate them. He wears a coller i am desperatly trying to find his owner asking the local kids etc but with no joy, i cant just turn him out he is clearely not looked after where ever he has come from, hope someone can help.

I adopted a cat from Petsmart about two weeks ago. She's a year and a half old and described as very docile, but requiring time to get used to new people. She has taken to hiding under the stove and I CANNOT get her to come out. She will come out to use her litter box and eat while I am either sleeping or at work. How can I lure her out? I've tried toys, catnip, table food, everything. She's scared to get near anyone.
