I just recently had to put my cat of 12 years to sleep. :( I was just wondering what were people's opinions on cats going to heaven. I really hope they do because I miss him a lot!

Hi there, I have just brought a cat home from the RSPCA yesterday shes 8 months old and is gorgeous, she sleeps all day and comes down stairs in the evening but doesnt like coming up to us or sitting on our laps, is this to do with her getting used to us and my home or is it because shes nervous, i would just like her to come and jump on my lap and have a cuddle. Shes a good girl, apart from my son scaring her earlier and she wet in the corner, i wasnt happy with him at all. Would love some advice please from anyone who can help x

My kitten has taken quite a liking to bread and other foods containing yeast. She's taken bread out of the toaster, eaten raw cookie dough and even broke into the bread box to eat 1/3 of the fresh loaf of bread. This cannot be healthy or normal... thoughts?

She is 4-5 weeks old. I got her 2 days ago and on the first day she was very playful. For the past day and a half, she doesn't want to play and sleeps all the time. She also won't eat unless it is out of your palm, and she still won't eat much. She will eat maybe a quater of those little cans (3 oz) twice a day. She is litter box trained and has taken about 3 small #2's and 2 #1's in two days. Is this normal???

wtf iz wrong with me :( I spent yrz wanting a siamese cat & now that i have one, It'z like i dont want it anymore :(.. I saved up alota' my allowance to get this cat, but now, I just don't know why I don't like her az much..
Why am I feeling this?
Plus, I thought of giving her back, the store I bought it from, doeznt give refundz, & they charge u 20$per day u take her before u give her back, n u can only "exchange" her with some other pet .

And, someone who worked at that pet store told me that yeah, i can exchange , but the one i have iz really rare here & they rarely get it in my country & that if i give it back & exchange , someone else will definitly buy her."Im not living anywhere near the U.S" just thought u should know!, Anwayz, & itz true, I did go through a hard time to find her..
So should I give it back & exchange ??? Or keep her, & get her pregnant by that same store with another siamese male & profit from it ??? U think it'z a good investment ??
Plzzz help me

Okay, we had a dog and a cat, and we have ended up having to get rid of them because we cannot stand the fleas. But Unfortunately that has not helped. We have Bombed the House with Raid Bombs, and the Foggers, and along with spraying the floors with 4 in 1 house spray. But The Fleas are still here. We have used up to 6 Bombs in our 3 bedroom house, and 3 more in the basement. AND THE FLEAS ARE STILL HERE!!!!!!!! I need some advice because I cannot deal with these Damn Fleas anymore. My Wife and kids are being eaten alive. I am ready to burn down the house.

When my cat's kittens were 3 weeks old, I got them out of the closet where she had them and took them into the living room. After she took them all back, she sat down in front of me and meowed for about 5 minutes. I think she was cussing me. Has your cat ever cussed you?

Why would she limp? She has claws, lives w. 1 other cat, and doesn't jump a lot. She has been limping for a couple weeks. Sometimes it seems to improve, but then it will return. Always the same paw, I have examined the paw for any splinters etc, but its fine. She doesn't pull away when I press on her paw either. I was thinking of taking her to the vet, but I would like to see if there is anything I could do at home to avoid a costly trip.

Yesterday I posted a question about symptoms for FIV. I was waiting to receive results of lab work, couldn't get in touch with my vet, and I was desperate. The results came in today, and thankfully, Basil does not have FIV. I can't tell you all how relieved I was to hear that good news! We still don't know what is wrong, but the vet thinks it's an upper-respiratory infection. There are no definitive symptoms, other than a little occasional wheeze/cough. His white cell count is low.

Basil is still not eating - I'm force feeding baby food mixed with liquid from canned chicken - but he is purring, grooming, and happy. Wants to cuddle. The vet did give me a special diet food, Science A/D, but Basil won't eat it for me.

Thanks to each of you who offered advice, support, and words of kindness and encouragement. I gave you all a "thumbs up." Thanks again, and while my cat is still not "out of the woods," at least I know it's not the serious illness I had thought it might be.
