It's not likely, but it's possible.

It depends on the way he was nuetered. Most vets castrate animals to nueter them, but I have heard of some that do vasectomies instead. If the cat wasn't castrated, I'd say it's more than likely that he will try to mate. If he's been castrated, then it's unlikely because he doesn't have the hormonal input that drives the desire to mate.

I'm gonna say yes because I've seen my 4 year old male get on top of my 3 year old female. He's been doing this for 3 weeks in a row and it's the first time in 4 years he's done this.

I'm pretty sure it's completely normal. Cats are living things too and it's only natural to get the feeling to mate every now and then.

Yes. I have always had my cats fixed, both male and female. Sometimes the fixed maled cat woill try to mount as a sign of dominance. I have also seen my neutered male cat try to mate with an un-altered female cat that was in heat. So, yes, a neutered male can still try to mate.

Yes, because it's instinct to mate and unless they are FULLY aware of being neutered they still think they got their 'package' so they will still try to mate.

They will still mount other animals sometimes - but that's also a dominance thing - not necessarily a sex thing.

Sometimes, either as a dominance issue or they even have sex, they are capable to do it, just no babies!
