A cat's pupils change their size very often, not just every day. They do this as soon as there is any fluctuation in light around them. When the pupils are bigger, the eyes are trying to take in more light. When the pupils are slim, there is a lot of light and they are keeping some of it out the best they can. Try cupping your hands over your cat's eyes and seeing them change. You can also do this to yourself. Go to a mirror with the lights out, turn the lights on, and closely watch your own pupils. They'll quickly dialate to prevent more light from coming in.

Cats are similar to humans. The pupils will react to the amount of light in a room. Also, when a cat is focusing on something, like if it's getting ready to pounce on something, it's pupils will get large rather quickly. The rapid change in cats is normal, nothing to be worried about.

No, this means nothing. Cats pupils change whether they are in light or dark. Cats pupils get smaller in the light and bigger in the dark.

The good news is that this is normal. If her pupils get big that means she is excited or frightened. You need to worry if her pupils remains large because that means she is ill. When her pupils are small that means she is relaxed.

it just means that thecat is in different light areas. the cat's puplis, like yours are affected by the amount of light that reaches the retina when the pupils are small, a large amount of light is getting to the retina, and the room is bright. when the pupils are large it is dark, and a small amount oflight is getting to the retina.

the light changes and your pupils (and your cats) adjust. they get bigger when its dark to let in more light, then smaller when it gets brighter. its fun if you stand in front of the mirror with a flash light and watch you pupils grow and shrink...
