That would be the proper thing to do for a dog, but a cat won't get it unless you cause him discomfort.
Im not saying hit him with a frying pan, mind you.
Get a squirt gun or a spray bottle, and just get him a bit wet when he misbehaves. It's how we keep the cat away from my bird. The bird loves it.

Get him neutered right away, make plans before Thanksgiving!
He is still a rambunctious kitten - just relax about it a while. He will not associate his unacceptable behavior with the punishment of the crate so don't do that. Saying a firm "No!" and putting him away from you is the best training right now. The older cat should be able to handle his unwanted attentions so unless he is really scaring her and causing her to hide I would let that one go too.

Use a spray water bottle on the stream setting. Its the only thing i have found that works on cats. I have 3. Hollering and spanking don't work. Or use a squirt gun.

Get a spray bottle and spray him and say no. It will teach him that that is the wrong thing to do. And he will stop. Cat's hate water and It's not cruel to spray them with water , but it will teach them that is a very bad thing to do. And they will stop.

specific cats could nicely be experienced to do issues. I even have 2 cats that fetch. Cats are lots extra autonomous and unfastened willed than dogs and could be lots extra obdurate to coach. it is going to take dissimilar paintings and be attentive to the thank you to coach your cat. yet in the top in the adventure that your cat isn't prepared to do it. nicely she merely wont.

Try aromatherapy. Cats are repelled by pine oil. Put a little in a container, keep it on your desk

Get a spray bottle and fill it with water. Whenever your cat does something bad, say, "Bad cat!" and spray him. eventually, he will get the point.
