If you've had her for awhile, she shouldn't be hiding from you...

When I first got my kitty, she hid because she didn't know us and she came out when we left her some food.

My dog cornered a cat once. We brought her in the house, and she crawled into a hole in my closet that went into the crawlspace. I kept food and water down there for weeks, but she would not come out. Even tunafish wouldn't bring her out! She would eat and go back to her corner. We were moving out of our house a few weeks after we found her. I swear, the day we were moving out, my brother heard a cat meowing, and our other cats were already at the new house! The cat came out that day, and we have had her for 7 years! She still hides out in the basement most of the time, and she comes out when she wants to.

I had a cat that would hide from me for days at a time, once she hid for 5 days. I never knew where she had been, she just showed up at the food bowl one day. She was an indoor cat so I knew she just hiding someplace in my house.

when she either gets hungry, thirsty or needs to go to the bathroom.
if she is missing in the house look in the oddest places, like on the closet shelves or odd places like that
if she is missing outside and it has been a couple of days, then i'd say someone stole her or the worst has happened.
good luck

You may need to come to the realization that your cat may just be dead. You need to move on and buy a new one.
