We have two cats which are brothers
One is normal , likes food, chases and murders birds, likes sleeping on beds, can open the door etc etc
Other one is skinny because he lets his brother eat most of the food, is scared of birds, hates beds, has no brains, and has a tail which curls into a circle. I can straighten the tail but when let it go it goes back into a circle. We are very embarrased but the cat couldn't care less.
Any ideas please.

This may seem like an odd question, but whenever I sing my cat comes over to me purring and lays down to cuddle/be loved. I do have a nice singing voice, but does my cat recognize that as a time for affection? I know felines aren't the most intelligent of animals, maybe I give mine too much credit for things, lol.

I have 3 cats and 2 of them love to paw blankets and the side of the couch and things like this. But I have one cat who never paws anything, then one day I caught her pawing under the spread and it was like she was embarassed for me to see it. Its the weirdest thing but why does my kitty paw under the blanket in secret as if shes doing something wrong?

at night & she has more of a hard time going up our steps. She will hesitate at first. I have had people tell me it could be artritus or hip displaysia. She does not wine but I did notice earlier that she at first had a hard time sitting on her rear end. That just seems strange. We are very close to her. We are going to get her in to the vet but just wanted to know if anyone can help us out with any advice about this. It would be much appreciated.

I use Special Kitty litter and since I live in a dorm (and technically not supposed to have a cat) I flush the "solid" matter down the toilet. Not the whole box of litter just what needs to be taken out at the time. I've been doing it for about 3 weeks and it doesn't appear to be a problem... please only serious answers.

my friend has a 1 1/2 year old female (UNspayed). she's had her since she was 6 wks. old. this poor thing has NEVER received one shot in her life. she needs EVERY vaccine available. she needs her shots and desperatly needs to be spayed (she's in heat at the moment). everytime I come back home from my friends house I always have to wash my hands thoroughly just to make sure that I don't have anything from her cat on my hands that is contagious to my 2 cats (I have a male/female who are BOTH spayed/neutered and BOTH updated on their shots). everytime I try to talk her into taking Sugar to the vet to have her spayed and get her shots she always tells me that she'll get around to it eventually. yeah right! my friend also has a 10 year old female pomeranian named Popy who obviously has never been spayed. I'm not sure about her shots though. it's probably the same though. I know that my friend is very irresponsible and needs to step up to her responsibilities to being a pet owner.

My Foxxy is about 5-7 months old. I got her right off of the sidewalk infront of my house. It was dark so I though I picked up a squirrel! She was tiny with a pointy face, long fur, BIG BUSHY TAIL. That was in August.
Now she has an appt. to get everything done to her. It is this coming Friday.
Some time late Friday/early Sat. I was told she threw up. I saw clear and foamy puke. She did it a couple more times. Today she did it 2x that I know of. She has not eaten nor drank very much since about late Friday night.
She was very playfull yesterday. Today she took a few licks of milk and water and she licked a pounce treat. She has been a little more sleepy than usual.
About a 1/2 hour ago I cleaned up her throw up and when I looked at the paper towel I found a skinny, whiteish, string that was curled like a broken circle. It was no more than 1 1/2 - 2 inches.
I feel like I should go to a store and buy OTC dewormer till Friday.
Should I do that? What kind of worm is this? Thank you

My cat has diarrhea. and we arent sure what to do about it. shes an outdoor farm cat, and shes maybe about 7 years old. but she has bad diarrhea. It is like, on her tail and back of her legs. and we arent sure what to do about it. we feed her dry food. i think she might be dehydrated a little...Winter is getting really close. we have 4 other cats and none of them are sick, other than a winter cold(which the cats normally have this time of year.) She is fixed..um i dont know what else to tell you. but if anyone has any suggestions on what to do....please tell me.........
Oh and I know that taking her to the vet would be a good idea, but we wanted to sea if their were any other suggestions besides that, that could help us. Thanks.

My indoor/outdoor male cat ( 1 yr. 7 months) was acting sick on Thursday and I took him to the vet on Friday morning. We are still waiting for blood work results for two possible conditions, the most serious of which is FIV. I have him home now, but he is isolated from my other cats. The vet thought he might eat better at home, but I can't get him to eat. I force fed him some strained meat baby food. He has been wheezing/coughing some, and has no appetite. He will drink water, groom himself, and purr a bit. His stools are a little runny. Please don't tell me to take him to the vet - I did, and my bill so far is $239.51, which I paid when I picked him up. He is on antibiotic while we are awaiting results. I just wonder what the symptoms might be. He has shown no signs of having been in a fight - no puncture wounds or bites of any kind that I've noticed. Needless to say, I'm worried sick. He has had all his shots (except the FIV, which is not "proven") and he is neutered.
