I have 3 cats and 2 of them love to paw blankets and the side of the couch and things like this. But I have one cat who never paws anything, then one day I caught her pawing under the spread and it was like she was embarassed for me to see it. Its the weirdest thing but why does my kitty paw under the blanket in secret as if shes doing something wrong?

Im thinking that by 'pawing' you mean how they "knead' the covers? If so, they are enjoying the softness under their feet and are 'fluffing' it more to suit them. (You know how picky cats are) the one that does it under the blankets might be doing it there because its warm and cozy under there and hes makin his bed!

Ok, this is kinda gross. But I had a fleece blanket that one of my cats was always kneading on, and he would get a really happy look on his face and purr when he did this. One day I went to pick him up off the blanket and he had a huge red rocket. (This was before we got him fixed). I've never seen this happen since with any of my other cats who knead on my blankets, but I think it kind of shows how cats can be more humanlike than we give them credit for. Maybe he's just really happy and is self concious about it. I have male cats who lick on each other and cuddle but the minute they realize I'm watching them they separate and act like they weren't just doing that. Cats have lived with us for so many years they are becoming so much like us.

It is like they are kneading , there moms milk. That is what little baby kittens do. That it is comfort for them. And she could me a little embarrassed, How cute is that.

Some cats just like their privacy on certain matters.

That's her own comfort zone or maybe she's just not as sociable as your other cats.
