We haven't had him during a Christmas yet, and he plays with/eats everything. I don't want him to destroy the tree (which is artificial) or any of the ornaments.

I just got them yesterday, their mom was killed the night before. I was giving them KMR milk every two hours all night, and they really seem a lot better. My boss (I work at PetSmart, thats how I got them) told me I could probably cut back to feeding every 4 hours or so.

My problem is that they're shaking very badly. I know theyre scared (they hiss at me) and confused and I'm doing the best I can to comfort them, so any suggestions? I'm afraid if I do too much theyll be even more scared, so I'm giving them some space for now, letting them adjust, and just spending some time every few hours sitting with them.

I know its normal for kittens to shake a little after they eat, but how much is too much? My boss said it could be hypo glycemia, so how do I tell, what should I be looking for? And if it is that, what do I do?

also... any suggestions on litterbox training (for later, since theyre not ready yet)

The lady is a registered foster home for animals that have been rescued until they go to good homes. Should I report her for the ringworm or keep quiet and think of all the good she does?

it still has a "stale" type of stench. Keeping the door completely closed makes it worse. Is there any type of deoderizor that I can put in there that my detour that cat from going in there all together but also keeps my clothes smelling nice.

My cats have this wonderful soft cuddly pet bed to sleep on. They have not spent 2 minutes on it since we got it (last year). They would rather sleep on the bare floor sometimes right next to it. One sleeps on top of the microwave. Are they weird?

I rescued a stray kitten last week and took him to the vet to be examined & receive his first set of shots (he was about 8 weeks old). They told me he didn't have enough bulk to give him a FeLV/FIV test at that time & to bring him back later in the month. They also said I should bring him back in before that for additional shots. He had gained weight over the past week, so I took him back in today to see if he could get the test & also if there were any other shots he could get now that he's bulkier (9weeks). They reviewed the paperwork from last week, gave him a 4-in-1 vaccination & took blood for the FeLV/FIV test. The vet warned me that he's too young for it to be completely accurate, so I should retest him at 16 weeks & vaccinate my current cat for FeLV as a precaution (I did that today). When I returned home and reviewed my kitten's paperwork, I saw that he received a 4-in-1 and dewormer last week and again today! Isn't that too soon? I'm not sure what I need to do from this point

A friend gave me a nice cotton comforter (padded) that I love, and last night when I went to bed I smelled urine. Does anybody know how to get the smell out? I have already thrown out two kitchen rugs recently. Everybody says you cant't get the smell out in the wash, but there must be SOMETHING out there that works, I don't want to lose this new comforter. Thanks very much in advance for any serious answers. Thanks from my kittie and me!

We have had a new 1 year cat added to our house, Our cat is about 5 years old. We intorduced them gradually and they are both fixed inside male cats, but when we let them on their own our cat hisses and runs and hides from other cat. when we find him he is shaking because he is scared. Is that normal? will he get over it?

We have a cat, well we have three...but this one in particular, we named him VADER. We named him that because he is an evil little ****! I am not joking! He is smarter than the average cat, I swear that when you look him in the eyes he is reading your mind! You can just SEE the thoughts running through his little brain! We inherited him from my best friend, her child was having headaches and she asked me to take him for a couple of weeks...well weeks turned into months and we started to love him so we ended up keeping him since my friend didn't want him back. We named him VADER after DARTH VADER, the evil one! LOL Vader startes trying to wake me up around 4:30 every morning to feed him....I have to lock him in the garage to get any sleep. He will jump on the bed, bother me, walk away for two or three minutes and come back repeatedly, if that don't work, he will knock my stuff off the bedside table till I get pissed and get up.

Kidney infection in my dog, and now my cat.How can two animals get the same life threating disease? I lived in a house with a pool in the backyard for 4 years. I had my cat snickers when I moved in. I bought snoopdog 2 years later. They allways were drinking water out of that pool against my wishes(how can you stop them) I had to move out when snoop was almost 2 years old. About 11 months later snoop got very ill, very fast. Snoop had an operation, that was very $$ Thank you Bark,ASPCA,ANIMAL ASST LEAGE. Snoop has passed on. Now my cat has the same problem. Could it have been the poolwater?
