Well, you can use Lamisil cream to treat the lesions. You can bathe animals with a Chlorahexidine shampoo...LOTS of times, you can wait for it to run it's course.
It will eventually clear up, but it will take a while. Do not bring in anymore animals for about 18 months.
You will never clean all of it out of the house. Cleaning helps, but the spores are microscopic and you can never get them all.

If you are certian that the problem is ringworm the best,most effective answer is Gentian violet , applied liberally to the area beyond the margins of the affected area and reaplyied as soon as it begins to fade. Non toxic to licking animals. Keep it up for weeks. Works for you too.

I had got ringworm when I was a preteen. My mom took me to the doctor and I got some cream for it. As far as the cat went The vet gave him some special shampoo.

Go to the doctor or the Vet and get a prescription you cannot buy medicine for ringworm over the counter and ringworm is dangerous as it can spread to animals and humans
