take him to a vet so they can pinpoint exactly what it is and they can give you the correct medicine for the cat!

The best thing to do would be to take kitty to the vet. I have 3 cats and you don't want to mess around because something small could turn into something big.

If you can't afford the vet try a local shelter they often times will offer services at a dicount price if you don't have the funds.

Hope that kitty feels better!

Kitty colds turn into kitty pneumonia real fast - take him to the vet for antibiotics.

If it is a viral infection (and it usually is) any discharge will be clear. If it is bacterial the discharge will be yellow or green. Bacterial infections can be treated with antibiotic, viral infections like our flu have to run their course.

So you must watch the cat to be sure that he continues to eat, gets some water in his system, and that his airways do not become so obstructed that his breathing is compromised. If anything of those things transpire he must see a vet pretty pronto.

Cats don't get 'colds' and a runny nose in a cat can be a sign of something serious, so please take your cat to the vet asap.

If it doesn't seem to be getting any better, it could be an upper respiratory infection and you should take him to the vet. If he seems to be recovering, then you're doing exactly what you should and taking good care of him.

let your cat get rid of it on it's own there nothing you can do
probably also an infection in the respiratory system and your cat may need an antibiotic
if your cat worsens notify the vet it may turn into pneumonia

Since there isn't a cure for a human cold, I doubt that there's one for kitties.

Take him to the vet. He could also have an upper respitory infection.
