For some reason its flea medication won't work

I have a cat with flea allergies. I used to give her Frontline, but since I got ceramic tile floors, she hasn't had a problem with fleas in years. Recently, she got out to the utility room, which is usually closed off to her, and I think she picked up some fleas. :( I'm getting some frontline today for her, but what can I do to keep her from scratching and losing more fur on the irritated areas?

I need a cat carrier that will give my cat space for cat litter box (small), room for the food and water. I went to a cat show and they had some really great cat carriers there that looked like large Bevely HIll Manisons. Would know where where to get one? And Oh with plenty of air space too. Thanx Meowolf1

Strays are a real problem in my neighborhood. So far I've had nine cats spayed and neutered, but they still keep coming. I want to make certain that these kittens don't reproduce; the three are about eight weeks old now. Should the mother be fixed now or wait till the kittens are totally indepentant? Thank you for responding.

I'm moving to France - and have a wonderful one-eyed ginger cat. Is he allowed to come with me or do I have to leave him in England?

We usually go "walkies" at night (with halter and leash) but must desist for a while becuase (1) the weather is foul; (2) there is some kind of cat-flu or cold going around that has the vets' offices absolutely chaotic; and (3) i am feeling poorly myself.

Now the cat's got the "snits;" alternatingly sitting with a disgruntled expression or coming at me meowing REAL loud.

Tried talking to him but he just shows me his butt and trutts back to his corner.

What to do?

We have a 15 year old cat who is in good health. We are wondering what to expect when she passes away - will we just find our in a corner when we come home, or should we expect a giant seizure and cries of pain?

Last night my cat woke me up and would not let me go back to sleep or just sit under the fan. She kept hitting me until I was awake enough to realize I was having a low blood sugar attack. She followed me to the bathroom and into the kitchen and waited for me to get something to eat. After I eat and drank she just laid down on the floor like nothing was wrong. After feeling better I went back to bed and she laid next to me the rest of the night. Is this common for cats? My other cat could care less.

For the last couple months, my kitty has been becoming increasingly bratty. Often times I will be petting her, she's purring away, and then suddenly attacks my hand- often biting it hard. She knows she's not supposed to do that, because she quickly jumps back right or runs away right after she does it. Also, even though she likes to cuddle, she doesn't sleep with me any more.

She's about 9 months old- is this the equivalent of a kitty teenager? What can be done ab out this? Thanks for any advice

My indoor cat likes to sit in the hall outside our bedrooms wailing at night. She doesn't appear to be looking at anything in particular. Why do cats do this?

what possible disease could this be?
the cat shakes her head to one side, then she loses her balance..and falls.
it almost seems like the sense of direction is lost, when she tries to move.
there is no visible wound....but the ear seems to be the problem.
also..the eyes and the smell might be comprimised.
basicly...when the cat moves, falls over to one side.....loses her direction.
i'm talking about a stray cat, that i'm used to feed every day...

won't use the litter tray, despite the fact that she was using it in the shelter. It is the kind with a roof, so I have tried roof on, roof off, I had bought Catsan litter but checked with the shelter, they used wood shavings, so I put this in on top, but no use. I have tried putting her in it (lid off) and putting her front paws in it (lid on) and she is not interested and freaks out a bit to get away. I had it in my spare room, where her other things are and she wasnt interested at all, she has been sniffing at the back door, so I put it there and she was marginally interested for about a second!

I am worried that she has not been to the toilet since yesterday, thats 24 hours without pee or poo. (I have checked the house thoroughly). She is very restless because she obviously wants to go, and I would love her to so a) she is relaxed and happier and b) I know she will be doing her peeing and pooing there when Im out.

Any suggestions please???????
