My dad seems to think that, because he says cats need rodent in their diet in order to survive, it is in their nature. I have never heard of this, is he being senile? He was tripping cause I fed my cat and went to wash the spoon that i fed the cat with with the little brush thingie that you pump that has soap in it that gets on the bristles, and he started tripping about the rodent ingredient, not just what it says on the can ( flavor).

My cat has been sneezing uncontrollably the past few days. All of a sudden, he just started sneezing, and has seemingly never stopped. His breathing sounds like he has a stuffy nose, but I don't know if that is such a thing for cats?
Does anyone know what might be up, and if a trip to the vet should be in order?
Thanks!

My cat Missy is 19 YEARS OLD! For the past few day's she has smelled bad (body,NOT mouth) not eating (NOT even MILK!) meowing alot, mopping around/lazy, today she drank some water and began to kinda "foam" around the mouth. I DID make a vet appointment but just wondering what YOU think? Is she about to die? My hubby has had her since he was 9!!
Thank's!!

kitten is hardly moving, about 4months old, seems to be in a lot of pain and is wet around where his penis should be almost as if he is dribbling urine. Also really seems to cry when I gently even rub his tummy. What do you advise, tried ringing vet and told only to contact in genuine emergency. not sure if this is or not.

My cat used to ataack my dogs all the time (lucky for him my dogs are passive). But he's been mauled twice by other dogs, the second time was by two at once. Don't worry, he's fine. Is my cat a psycho or something? What ever happened to the "Cats are afraid of dogs" thing?

My cats keep coming home with ticks attached to them. I know how to prevent them from getting them, (Just put a fresh flea/tick collar on each of them) but.... Removing them is kind of a tricky problem of mine, I try using rubbing alcohol and than using a tissue to pick it off, but it doesn't seem to work that well. I was wondering if anyone knew any better ideas/strategies or ones they use. Thanks.

Due to recently putting down my cat's buddy (another kitty) my cat shadow's upnoxious yowling through the house has become worse. She used to do it when other kitty was alive, but since she's been gone I think she's going thru the house calling for her. How can I get her to be quiet at night so we can sleep in peace without getting her a new buddy? I'm not ready for another kitty right now. I've tried getting up with her and loving on her, I've tried isolating her and that is not right to her. She's just upset and confused. Any suggestions are good, nothing vulgar please. Thank you in advance.

I've been fostering my friend's kittens for 2 months, got them when they were 4 months old. She won't be back for a year and now doesn't want them back. I'm fine with keeping them, but she wants the female to have kittens so she can have 1 or 2 when she returns.
She said if I don't want to have a breeding queen another friend would pick them up. They are 7-toed cats so a lot of people want them and apparently Polydactyl cats produce polydactyl kittens.
My problem is my family, dogs and other cats have accepted them, and everybody gets along.
I've never had an unaltered animal, but I don't want her to go to someone who is going to let her produce litter after litter. I strongly believe responsible owners get their cats fixed. Should I get her fixed without telling anyone, let her have a litter then get her fixed or give her away. If I get her fixed without permission have I done something illegal.

I have a friend who recently chased off a neighborhood cat from his garage because it was eating his own cat's food on several occasions. He chased it off with a broom and accidentally hit it. It turns out that it was the neighbors cat and they took it to the Vet ER. Turned out the cat was fine just had a small abrasion and now the neighbors are asking him to cover the vet bill. Should he have to pay the bill or not.
