Who spreads more germs: cats or dogs?

Cats have specific types of diseases that are very harmful. If you are pregnant you should not come in contact with cat poop.

Dogs are not much better.

I would say dogs; cats don't drink out of the toilet then lick your face! ;-)

However, kept clean, neither spreads many. You have to bathe the dog and let it go outside; you have to keep the litter box clean for the cat, but if you do, the germs are at a minimum.

CATS! hands down. besides lickin all the same parts a dog can lick because they can, A cat has major amounts of bacteria in they're paws and claws from the litter box and killing birds,little critters to climbing inside dumpsters. It's a matter of fact that a dogs mouth is cleaner than ours and it's well know that a dogs saliva has healing properties that can heal our wounds. I think the only other critter that can medically help and or heal our biggest ouchies are leaches for hepatic issues and sterile maggots that eat dead tissue and let the good tissue grow from the inside out. Mainly used for deep infectious wounds or burns.

dogs spread more, they drink from the toilet, mine likes to get sprayed by skunks and lick my cats poop....definitly dogs.
