I also have a tabby cat and a black cat. The tabby is much older, the black one is probably still a kitten. She's pretty skinny too. But she's cute, almost every morning she jumps up in my bed and starts purring.

The cat that you like is called a persian. I like them too...they're really cute. I have a manx. She was born without a tail. They are the nicest cat. They're called the dogs of cats. because they just want to be pet and loved on and they meow all the time. If you can find one of them...definately get one...they're awesome! They're the only kind of cat I will ever own. I have to do that so that I don't end up with all of the stray cats in the neighborhood...I will only have cats with no tails. :)

That would be a Persian cat, that you are talking about.
I own three Siamese cats.
One is a Chocolate point apple face named Chio-Chio-san (Japanese for Butterfly).
One is a Lilac point from one of the original lines named Lily Lilac Potter.
One is a Blue point from one of the original lines named Misha Blue eyes.
I have photos of them on the web.

I have three gray tabbies named Pandora, August and Willie.
And a Maine Coon cat that is also a gray tabby who's name is Pi Boy or Pi-bunny.

Have a 10 year old tortie DSH - Sam (daughters cat actually)
A 11 month old tortie DSH - Nitika (means angel of precious stones, but she is no angel!)
And a 4 year old pure bred brown Burmese rescued from the animal shelter- Pagan ( named after one of the original regions in Burma)
Have had the Burmese for only a few weeks but has settled in well and he and the young tortie play chasey around the house.

I have a orange cream tabby and a tuxedo cat. I used to have a tabby/calico mix, like a wild cat looking fur. She was beautiful. It was tabby close to her skin with calico markings on top, but no white on it. But you must like the persian or himalayian cat.
