Pedialite is good for a temporary solution. You need to find out why it has diarrhea because they can get very sick if it goes on for long. I suggest you take it to the vet as soon as possible. Herbs are to be used with caution because some are deadly to cats. You really need to know what you are doing.

I'm not sure, but I wanted to make sure that you do not give your cat dairy products at any time, for any reason. It is a big misconception that cats need or desire dairy products. If a cat is trained to drink milk, it will, but only because it would dehydrate otherwise.
That said, please do not give your cat yogurt as suggested above. The fact that dairy products cause diarrhea in animals should tell you something, and with your kitten already sick, this would be an insane thing to do.
Please take your kitty to the vet. I had one with diarrhea die when I was little, because my mother wouldn't take it to the vet. A few years ago, I adopted a kitten who got sick, received treatment and he is robust and healthy and five years old now. Good luck.

have you bothered taking the kitten to the vet? It could be very sick. I'm not sure pedialite is appropriate for animals. Please, be responsible and take you kitty in to be checked. The diarrhea could just be a symptom of something worse.
p.s. cats can't get parvo, it's only found in dogs. Also, please do not give your pet human meds without discussing it with your vet first!

Please take ur kitty to the doctor/Vet as diarrhoea is a major problem don't give ur cat food which is heavy to digest for eg. no fish , no meat just give it lots of curd/yogurt and cook up rice in a paste form and with the help of a spoon or a syringe( no needle to the syringe please lol ) feed it . This rice paste / porridge will give it energy and no bread is to b given either.
Try to get some yeast and mix 2 pinches of yeast in yogurt and feed ur cat. Cats don't like yeast at all so make sure u just roll it somehow in some food the kitten wud eat I think yogurt will b great.
Don't at all give milk to ur kitten it'll worsen the case. I've had to take my cat to the vet and she had me do all the above but along with all this ur kitty needs appropriate medicine so please do take it to the VET .
My kittys Vet gave him Nutrolin B and some other pill which he used to hate and he gave me so much trouble he used to hold his mouth shut so tite I had to put the syringe thru the side of his mouth and it was like even after i gave him the liquid medicine he'd take it all out in the form of water and foamy mass at his mouth and it used to b a workout in itself...Well please take it to the vet and if u can manage then get ur kitty the medicine in the form of tablets which u can pop them in their mouth with some little amount of effort... and while doing so please pat ur kitty with love move ur hand over it's head so that u comfort it and don't let it panic.
VET IS A MUST FOR UR KITTY.

Please stop IMMEDIATELY! Using any over the counter medicines that humans take, especially on a kitten, without checking with a vet first can be disasterous. A kitten's system and that of all animals isn't structured like humans. It's much more delicate.

Try plain yogurt for your kitten, it will help them with the diarrhea. A spoonful is enough, they'll probably eat half of it.

lemon grass-it aids digestion, kinda in the way that bananas do for humans- if your cat/dogs constipated-it clear him up, and if he has diarrhea, itll help to firm up his stool...plus its the cheapest grass thats safe for animals to eat- your cat will probably love it- good luck....(also, since this will only solve the obvious, and immediate problems- you should try to get your cat into a vet to have a check-up, but if you dont have the extra cash-cause they can be pretty pricey, try these tips out: check your cats stool for blood or worms or anything mucas-like....if its blood, it may just be the harsh conditions of her bowels from the strain...but it could also be ulcers in her digestive track- mix about 200 mgs of vitamin c in her food about 3 times a week for two weeks, and give her soy milk-the soymilk is preffered for this case cause it wont give her in digestion/heartburn...and itll aid healing in the same way,.....if its worms- get a worm collar, and you may have to fork out about 40 bucks at a pet store for worm meds.....if its mucas, its probably just her diet- read the sodium count on the food your givng her now, and try to switch to a lower sodium food- also try getting one higher in iron anyways, at least for now cause itll also assist in hardening, and cleaning her blood out from some of her natural toxins that livers probably making while shes had this problem....,of course the diet thing may just be that you give her too many food-scraps- if this is the case- cut out all table scraps from her diet and just stick to cat food.......i hope that helps......good luck!

Are you sure your kitten doesn't have parvo or something? I don't think I would be giving the kitten anything that you don't know what it will do to it.
