Revolution is the same too, just more in each different color tube. The dose for most cats is .4 cc. That is a pretty small amount. Be sure you have a syringe that is only 1cc, and not a 3cc syringe.
We use the dog Revolution all the time at the shelter I work at to treat ear mites in feral and semi feral cats.
It is NOT toxic to cats because there is a cat Revolution, but like with the Advantage, you can save a LOAD of money by getting the large dog tubes and breaking it up into smaller doses for the cats. It is the same EXACT concentration!!! There is just MORE in the dog tubes!!! You are paying to a lot of package material in the cat doses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry I am not sure what dosage....I know it is definaley a smaller dosage but you can use it on your cats. I'm pretty sure one package of the dog stuff does 30 cats in our shelter. I would look on the back it probably goes by weight . Make sure not to use too much though it can be very very toxic to your kitty

I would not use dog products on the cat. You might overdose them. I know they make Revolution for cats and it would be safer to buy that.
Also, sometimes the formula for one is dangerous to the other. Advantix which is made for dogs has an ingredient in it that is fatal for cats. My vet told me never to use Advantix on my dogs since I also have cats in the house.

NEVER use dog medicine on cats unless instructed to by your vet. Many meds ok for use on dogs are fatal to cats. Just get kitty some of her own.

The dosage usually goes according to weight. Not to mention Canine topicals are usually different then feline. Do interchange the two.

Many of the flea products available for dogs are toxic and can kill a cat.
Do not use dogs flea products on your cat. It very well may be one of the ones that is toxic.
For cats with fleas only use products made for cats.

No, it would be too strong. They are dosed according to the cat's weight. Go get a cat one. That is the best thing you can do. If you over medicate you can kill your cat.
