If so, are you willing to discuss the outcome of the encounter?

ok .. after i feed all of them, i pee pee them so that they dont pee all over eachother. now lately, i noticed that there has been a little bit of blood coming out of some of their butts .. it usually happens when they are screaming to get down which looks like they are straining themselves .. is that normal? also when should i begin traing them with the litterbox? they are 1 1/2 weeks old..

Especially if you are an adult male? One of my stupid cats hisses and growls at me all of the time.My wife say's it' because I play with him too rough, but sometimes he does it even when I'm just petting him.

I know it sounds goofy.Maybe he's not the real p ussy, LOL.

I have a year old American Eskimo. He's frisky and playful, but sometimes muc htoo wild and like to rough-house. I'm thinking of adopting a mellow 1-3 year old cat to keep me company when i don't feel like wrestling with the dog... XD

Is this a good idea...? I'm not sure if the two will get along, but as a puppy, my dog grew up with a cat at his previous owner's house. He hasn't seen one since.
I am a full time student and am not home almost 9 hours a day.... That's not good for a cat huh? Can they be left alone for long periods of time? I always thought that cats were independant and such... Opinions/ advice?

I took him to the vet because he kept digging in his ears and the vet had 3 people hold him down to just look at his ears. We've never really cleaned them (we did when he was a kitten but as he grew he hated it and since I'm the only one he likes he tolerated me doing it for short periods of time, but now he hates it and won't let you near his ears) and the doctor said he would give me medicine but since he doesn't like people near/in his ears he didn't give it to me. Mostly because he didn't want me to get hurt. What should I do for him?

A stray tom cat has adopted my wife and myself. He follows us all around the yard. It doesn't hurt that we always keep food on our front porch for him. He is very loveable and we would like to bring him the house this winter. But we want to have him neutered first. I am not sure how old he is , but he not not a young cat. Is this still safe to have done?

Hello all. My vet tells me that a cat, like a human, can become pregnant until it is a senior. (??) He said a cat is considered a senior until she is 9 years old. I told him I thought it was 7. Maybe time to change vets? I'm also curious if an outdoor cat will roam off to make her nest when preparing for a litter. I know how long they are pregnant for and when you are able to see the signs but I'm not really sure what the oldest age is for a cat not to be able to become pregnant? Searched the internet but came up with nothing. Thanks a bunch!

My 13yr old cat is addicted to chicken. He has to have it every day and more then once. His main feast is cat food but he has to have his chicken. He will only eat the white meat. He does not get sick after he eats it. Chicken is just a snack, three or four times a day. He is not over weight. Is feeding him this much chicken doing him harm or is it ok?

I am eight months pregnant with two indoor, neutered cats (both male & are brothers) who I have had since they were around two months old. Now they are a little over two, and ONE of them has begun peeing about six months ago (I have caught him, while the other uses the box religiously). On clothes, clean or dirty, all over my baby's new playpen which we set up (ended up tossing it out when we discovered it was totally ruined), now on my futon which has been here longer than the cat and was never an issue. I took him to the vet a month ago, got him treated for a UTI, and all seemed well for about two weeks. Now he is peeing again - we are talking three times within a 48 hour period. I am ready to take him back to the no kill cat shelter where we got him. We are going to keep his brother. I keep his box clean and have tried all the tricks I have read online - nothing is working here. Any further ideas?? I do NOT need this stress . . .

My kitten was neutered yesterday and spent the night at the vet's. I picked him up today. It's been about 6 hrs and he decided to hide in the closet. He has warm ears which may be a fever.

This is a kitten that never hides. Is this common for recovery? Has anyone had any complications from neutering?

My kitten is about 12 weeks old. I got him from a friend who got him from a friend. Supposedly one kitten of the litter was diagnosed with feline leukemia. And supposedly all the rest of the kittens, mine included, tested negative. I took him to the vet at 8-9 weeks for a normal checkup (distemper shots etc...) and they retested him for leukemia since by him being so young that he could have shown a false negative result. This test also came back negative. They want to do one more later just to be safe. He also had roundworm. Here is my worry, this is the second day I have noticed that he has diahrrea. No other symptoms to speak of, he has not eaten anything different that I am aware of either. I have read that diahrrea is one of the symptoms for leukemia. Am I overreacting?? Or should I be concerned?? I called my vet and if it does not clear up they want to see him tomorrow. Should I be concerned????

I have an all black 2 yr. old (spayed) female cat who I've had since she was 5 wks. old. she is kept indoors 100% of the time ( I believe that cats live longer healthier lives indside and they don't come in contact w/ all the dangers and diseases that are out there for them to stumble upon). she has never explored the outside world since I've had her and I'm not planning on her doing so either. people have informed me that because cats are natural born hunters then they are "should" be interested in being outdoors and wanting to go out. my female is scared to even look outside the front door. she lays in a window all day long and watches the birds but when you finally open the door for any reason, she looks out and then runs away. is this normal for an total inside cat to do? maybe since she's ome attached to being indoors for so long then she's become afraid of what's out there. people have told me that cats want to go out and explore at least once. what do you think? Thanks

When I feed feral cats that are not 100% used to me, should I leave the food there? Or watch them eat it? Today I got a can of sardines, slapped them on a paper plate, and took it outside where the cats normally be. Its a mother, and her two kittens which are about 8 months old. When I fed them, I crouched down and put the food right in front of me, then slowly crept towards me and started eating. If I made a sudden move, they would back up like 4 feet, then eventually continue eating.
