My female lilac point Siamese is having ear trouble. She's constantly shaking and scratching her left ear. Does it just need cleaning? And how do I do that: rubbing alcohol and cotton swab?

I know I spoil my cat, but sometimes he gets real stubborn, and after he jumps off my lap, he'll cry 5 minuets later to come back on. I'll tell him to jump up, but he gets real stubborn, until I tell him either jump up on my lap or go lay down, sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't. What can I do to get him to listen, and not cry as often for this, and for coming to bed with me?

A cat that has been coming around my house since April has just recently had two kittens at the begining of August;just yesterday my Aunt checked to see if they were boys or girls. And to my surprise they are both girls. So I came up with a huge list of names heres a few I liked:

Luna, Latte, Cutsie, Halo, Honey, Nova, Pooky, Smooch or Smoochie, Pixie, Petal, Precious, Comet, Sage, Topaz, Duchess, Paris, Chic, Ace, Peeper, Shadow, Sable, Cyric, Yasin, Oreo, Skeet, Nitro, Bouncer, Hopper, and Dasher.

I almost forgot, one of the kittens is all black with blues eyes and whie highlights on her belly. Her sister has black fur on her back and a all white stomach, white paws, blue eyes, and an all black tail with a white tip.It would really help if you picked the top ten or five best names out of the list

My cat is pregnant for the 12th time in the last 2 years. I could never figure out which tom-cat was the father. Anyways I wanna find out who the father is for my cat so I can keep them together as a family. Like so the father and mother can raise the kittens together.
Thanks for the help!

I just moved into a new house and I didn't want to bring him but I just had to. I've tried a water gun and that only works for a minute. I also bought a scratch post. He'll use it but scratch the walls too. Anyone have any ideas?

My husband got me a 10week old female kitten about 2 weeks ago. We have kelp her in a spare bedroom since then. We let her out every day so my 5 yr. female cat can get use to her smell. My older cat, JoJo, doesn't like the kitten at all. The kitten was raised with cats so all she wants to do with JoJo is play. The kittn will chase her and JoJo will run away and hiss and growl at her. A friend of the family told me that i need to keep the kitten out all the time even when no one is home and at night, but I'm afraid that JoJo will hurt the kitten. I know it takes time for them to get along, but its difficult to keep an eye on them all the time.

My flatmate has a new 3 year old russian blue cat. It's a lovely cat and fine with her. However, it's terrified of me and can't get away fast enough when I'm near! I've tried to be kind and gentle with it but it hasn't worked. I'm never near other cats and I don't smell strange (I hope!) so what can I do?

ive heard alot of talk over the years that different colored cats make better or worse pets! like for say a calico is suppost to be a very mean cat, while an orange one is very loving & playful! Anyone really believe this or tell me your experiances with different colors of cats and thier behaviors/personalities

I have a two year old spayed female who suddenly has decided to spray. She does it in paticular places, like where another cat had her kittens and in my daughters room. It is driving me nuts and to be honest I just want to beat her, if she doesn't stop I will give her away. I know she is "marking" but what, short of locking her in the garage, can I do??

My cat has his litter box in my bathroom, he has always been fine with it. All of a sudden he started going in to my daighters bathroom and just peeing on her rug, like hes supposed to. Then this morning im sitting in my room on my bed eating cereal and i dont know if something startled him or something but he jumped up on me and peed on me!! he just walked over right in front of me and peed! i couldn't believe it. He's gettting neutered in about 26 days, (and counting). He's a male cat and he's very timid. I am not sure if he was abused or what but hes scaredy cat to the fullest. If anyone could tell me why or what to do i would appreciate it greatly!!

We tried to catch the cats, but i don't want to capture her if she's pregnant because she might go into early labor or something. I also don't want the chance of some kittens dying. What do I do?!? My neighbor...who is a retired verternarian...said that we should stop feeding the cats because they'll just stick around and breed. I don't want to take them to the shelter because if they're acting mean or don't get adopted they'll pet them down. They are very social around me,but anyone else in the family the are skiddish around. HELP!!!

i have a very old cat at my mom's house...she's about 17 years old, give or take some...she front declawed, very over weight and lazy...no signs of sickness, but very mean towards anyone except my parents, and sometimes me if im luck. I myself had just gotten a new kitten to live at my apartment. My mom is now very jealous and wants a kitten, she loves kittens and also feels that it might bring back some life into my old cat. She's also worried that the old cat (patch is her name by the way) will try to hurt the new one and she doesnt want anything like that to happen. Do you think it's safe to bring a new one into the house?? I know they might hate eachother for awhile, but they can adjust...what do you suggest?
