They were infested bad when i got them and i bathe them 2x per week. Of course some are gone, but not all. Now i let them go outside. I figured that the baths werent doing much good and the outside wont hurt them. What can i use to de-flee them?

She's about two weeks off before the kittens arrive, she is always sleeping nearly all day and she is locked up during the night for safty reasons, she's moody as well, she usually is very smoochy and cuddly but now she's very touchy, Is she OK?
And If anyone gives me the Irresponsable owner act I will report you!
Im getting her fixed after the kittens are weaned.

My kitten is about ten weeks old... We got him a week ago. He is very cute and a little needy. The problem is that when he goes poo there is some still left on his butt and it stinks! It is especially bad because he wants to be held and sit on you all of the time. I am pregnant, so I'm not sure if I should be doing this, so my husband has to wipe his butt. He wasn't here the last time, so I had to lock him up in a separate room and that's sad. : (

Will he grow out of this and learn to clean his butt on his own? Does anybody know? Does it matter if I clean his butt, with being pregnant? I know these are unusal questions, but I need HELP on this!!! He stinks!

I just adopted a what I think is a 6 week old kitten (probably a hoarder) and it hasn't been weened from mommie before he gave it to me, I am concerned that the cat will starve. I don't want that to happen.. I bought a nursing bottle and kitten formula and she won't take it. I have read that if I stick my finger in wet food and put it to its mouth, it will eventually eat. What should I do. Also, it had gunky eyes and no runny mouth. I don't thintk it is a upper respitory infection what could that be?

There's this little black bump on her face, under her eye, it looks like a pimple, but it's black. She's a brown striped tabbi, but there's no fur on the bump, it's weird. Today I saw her stratching like crazy and just now I noticed that it was bleeding, she must have cut it when she was scratching... Anybody know what it might be? And will it get infected? If I had a cut I'd put some neosporin on it, or hydrogen perroxide or something, but she's a cat, idk how her immune system and stuff works.

P.S. She's 14, but in pretty good shape.

I am picking up two new female kittens tommorrow morning. These kittens are in need of some names. I normally let our children name the pets, but the hamsters are Mario and Luigi, the bird is pickle poop becuase her poop looks like pickles (they say), the dog is named Sampson and out older cat Goliath. Even the fish have matching names (characters from Nemo). They've been putting their heads together all night and have come up with nothing. Please help with some suggestions.

Should let you know Thelma and Louise are out, as well as Lucy and Ethel....the kids don't know who they are.

My cats go out every night...tonight I haven't seen 1 in about 3 hours. That may not seem like a long time, but he ALWAYS comes back within 5-10 minutes of me calling him in, or he comes home on him own. We have searched the entire neighborhood for the past hour, and called him over and over to no avail...my other cats came home tonight, just not the missing one...am I freaking out over nothing? I am worried maybe he wondered further than usual and lost track of his scent??? I have walked, and drove around looking, now I will just wait up for as long as I can...any suggestions, or help please? Could he just be acting different and for the 1 time in his life sitting under a bush or something and ignoring us?

about 150 yards away from my apt. is a publix plaza that has some woods next to it.

i always see these little black kittens. they are really young and would like to catch them as pets. problem is that they are really skittish around people (or just me). everytime i get with in 3 feet of them they retreat back into the woods. i know if i can mannage to get between them and the woods i could scare them out close to the building and then i would be able to catch them. but they are always close to the woods so that plan fails.

what would be a good way for me to manage to catch these kittens? i would like to get them before a car or animal control gets to them.

My cat (black) is peeing on the couch. He is a healthy 7 year old male weighing about 13 lbs. He pees on the couch and it smells bad. It stinks up the whole house. The vet gave us a repellent however it did not help. We do not want to have to get rid of him. Please let us know what we can do.
