It could be upper respiratory infection. Continue to keep the eye clean. Unfortunately, it's contagious to the other kittens even though they may seem healthy right now. A visit to the vet's office will take of the problem, also tell him this little kitten has litter mates in which case he may give you meds for them as well.

If the mummy cat won't be able to stumble on a private area that makes her experience gentle like a field or roomy kennel in a closet or some thing like that they are going to hold their kittens that are the reason the 1st 5 died. She would possibly no longer have felt gentle or if there are different cats or canines which will lead them to experience uneasy. The final kitten became probable held in longer i'm not sure why they do no longer survive yet i've got had this take place earlier then i've got been given a e book on cats and that's helped lots. you will possibly desire to nevertheless take her to a vet to make certain there is not extra kittens. that's risky for her if there is.

It sounds like you have done everything right. The mother will also keep the kitten clean. It does not sound life threatening so I would wait till morning to call the Vet. If the kitten starts suffering throughout the night I would suggest taking it to the animal hospital. That can be expensive and would only do as a last resort. Hope everything works out.

It sound to me as though your cat has an eye infection. This is common in young kittens especially when they first open their eyes. This can also happen when cat's have a cold, they get congested and they will get runny noses and runny eyes.
You need to keep cleaning the eye with a moist cloth and take the kitten to the vet when you can. You can also buy an antibiotic eye ointment called erythromycin just like what you would use for yourself if you had conjunctivitis. This can be purchased at your local tractor supply store for about $10 a tube.

It sounds like there could be a little infection or irritation with the eye. It should be fine until the vets open up tomorrow. Give them a call and they can tell you whether or not she needs to be seen.

sounds like an eye-infection,...it prolly will not kill your kitten, but it no good to keep it that way, some desease are catchy amongst cats..,so it could be you end up with all of them an eye shut, seeing a vet would be a good thing to do.
a pharmacist would have an ointment for that..,that you can put on,and after a few day's it would be gone.

Cats get what they call "sore eyes" from over handleing when their kittens. Try to keep from handleing it as much, wipe the eye out with a damp rag, and it should clear up on its own.

Just leave it alone and if over night it doesn't get better then you should take it to the vet in the morning.
